Great news for WKU. I haven't read anything on his process to get eligible. What problem did the NCAA have with him originally? I hate that the NCAA takes their sweet time on these matters.

Some questions on his grades. His principal had sent in her verification well before the season started and it's taken this long!

Principal did not send in his verification until a few days before the season started. Would not call that well before. NCAA says they take cases in order they are received. Since his was in so late it took longer. He should have been cleared about a month ago.

Anderson had multiple deaths in his immediate family and also had major flooding in the Baton Rouge area that caused severe damage to his home. He missed some school time because of these issues and had to make up the course work in summer school which is why he did not report to WKU until later than everyone else.

He is a good kid and has had a lot of bad breaks in life.

For sure but this will b his first college game. Not sure how effective he will b but has to boost to the entire teams confidence going forward. I see where you’re coming from amigo. But both he and Mostapha Diagne have been practicing with the team all season. Our guys know him and what he can do. He’s not played in a real game with them yet but he’s legit top 100 player. Most had him no lower than low 60s.

He helps us where we need it immediately. Out front on defense. He’s got the speed and athleticism to guard the 1 through 3 spots. He’s long armed and keeps a poker face. I’ve never seen him smile in our exhibition pre season game.

He gets after it on dee. He has a very explosive first step on offense. He’s not a guy that’s gonna be out pulling jumpers all night. Another dribble drive type player that will be a tough matchup for somebody.

We’ve had a week to get our legs recovered going into this game. This is the best news I’ve heard all year. I’d love to see Diagne get eligible to help out JJ and Coleby but if I’d had to choose 1 of the 2 this is the guy.

I still figure we’ll lose at Marshall but we should at least give them a game this year. This team goes as Darius Thompson goes. I’ve said that from the first couple games. Now everyone is saying it. I love him as a player and he seems like a fine young man as well.

Thompson is the man (other than JJ). Anderson will for sure help, although a more pressing need would have been Diange because of inside depth. Good to have at least one to help.

Great news. Not a WKU fan, but we need 2 teams in the tourney.

True but what I have read and heard he has been our best player in practices....We will see if that carries over to the games but regardless Anderson has a mean streak about him and will get after it on defense even if he is slow out of the gate offensively...

True but what I have read and heard he has been our best player in practices....We will see if that carries over to the games but regardless Anderson has a mean streak about him and will get after it on defense even if he is slow out of the gate offensively...

I think we will see the energy from the Bahamas show back up tomorrow night, this was just the spark this team needed to keep them pushing. Im very excited to have Josh and just another pair of fresh legs

My main worry about playing in Huntington is that they have one of those "Belmont" like shooting games were just about every shot behind the arc is going in. Marshall is currently shooting 34% behind the arc, if they have one of those 60% nights it could get ugly. This years Topper team has allowed some good 3 point nights but managed to still be there at the end evident of the worse loss point wise by 8 to Villanova. If we can pull one out in Huntington it would be a big step in conference play. Nice to have the depth Anderson will provide and the fact that he is a quality talent is a bonus.

Hopefully Anderson can help us tonight. This is going to be a very tough game.
