RE: GCU @ Seattle
They just mentioned the seven point “yo yo”. I hope GCU keeps a two to three possession cushion the rest of the way. This was definitely the game of the week in terms of quality of opponents and potential for a close one down the stretch. It’ll be a well earned victory for the winner, and one that they can be proud of. I just hope the winners are wearing purple... :)

Canyon has them on the ropes... can’t let up. Seattle has inexplicably fallen apart this second half. Best of all, Canyon has tightened up and hasn’t committed a turnover this half so far.

31-29 at the half. Going to be a battle to the end.
I’m still geeking out over the dunk he had at Illinois. ESPN tweeted it as a highlight and now the video has been seen over 800,000 times. His waist was higher than the defenders head. Ridiculous ups.
And yeah... it’s going to be a grind. But it always is between these two teams. GO LOPES!!!

Oscar is definitely the player of the game if we win.

Lopes surprised me tonight. They continue to play serious D. The offense is still rough. Thank goodness for Oscar.

Excellent game for the Lopes. Less than stellar start, but great grit and tenacity down the stretch. They took over the game against a good team on the road. GCU is now 9-1 all time against Seattle U. How about Oscar just taking over! Solid 16 point win. Lopes up!!!

Offense did show some signs of improvement. Everyone else is realizing that they need to step up a little bit more to help us be consistent.

Great win! Playing in Seattle is always tough. Now we just need to defend our home against the Aggies on Thursday. Going to be a white out I hear!!

My roommate was at the game and said GCU fans matched Seattle U fans there.

At times you could hear chants like "Lopes Up!" and I even heard the "Na, na, na, Goodbye" song at the end there. Love it that the Lopes travel well.

Sounds like the Chicago State game I was at last year. We had probably 60 fans to their 65. But then the box score said there were 1,500 there. Not sure where the rest were hiding or who they were supporting.
