I dunno, the AAC commish's willingness to endorse a system in which the barrier to entry for G5 programs requires a miracle season to clear really undercuts the whole P6 schtick. If he really bought in, he'd press for changes to the system that included them with the power conferences instead of meekly accepting the same leftovers the rest of us unwashed masses are begrudgingly allowed.

They don't want to make any waves. They're scared to death to challenge the system. They realize that in time the playoff will be expanded to six or eight, without them having to throw a tantrum. There's more money to be made in an expansion.

Despicable. These puppets should be ashamed of themselves. After what happened to UCF this season, the argument to expand would actually gain momentum. Judy is a joke, and we all know that, but the AAC guy seemed to have some vision and spine. If we can't even lobby for our own best interest we may as well admit defeat and let the P5 secede and do their own thing.

Judy should be fired for those comments. We have no leader at the top of this conference. We are a rudderless ship drifting aimlessly in a sea of ineptitude.

Agreed. If our own commissioner is going to roll over on this then we need to kick her to the curb.

Lets hope Judy is just being nice because she knows she will be fired soon.

How any conference commish from a G5 conference could be happy is nuts.

UCF and the Big 10 both had big cases this year.

Being devils advocate, I think the P5 may have let the G5 know they could pull out of the NCAA and take their teams and tournaments with them. As much people want to think the NCAA has control, they don't. They can say lets see which ABC/ESPN, CBS and Fox think will be the money games in the sports the New Non NCAA or the remaining NCAA. I have a feeling the Big East would be willing to go as all sports than non-basketball. It is not like the NCAA has a proven winning track record in court. Remember Conferences have the TV contracts not the NCAA. You have to imagine if the NCAA lost the power conferences, CBS lawyers would be all over the place looking to void the contract.

No Question. They will keep 2 of their own power 5 conferences out of the playoff (Big 10 and PAC 12 this year ) in order to keep the G5 out

Hush money, and the G5 need the money so they just get on their knees and suck away.
