I don’t get it. Are you insecure about MT’s role in college football and thus must attempt to tear down UCF to make things better? You sound like another whiny Alabama fan who can’t believe that UCF would DARE challenge their claim for #1.

We’ve received 5 first place AP votes and were ranked #1 in an NCAA sanctioned computer poll that used to decide champions in the BCS era. But if you want to continue pretending like that doesn’t exist, be my guest. It’s clear that you’re really threatened by UCFs success and the AAC’s at large.

I deplore the term "butthurt" sounds like something that someone in middle school would say and I don't consider UCF the national champions but I do think it is ludicrous that an undefeated team at the FBS level has zero shot at playing for it. Until they make the playoffs, at least, an 8 team event there is not a legitimate champ.
The setup needs to be the 5 so called power leagues champions, you can eliminate the conference championship games, and take the regular season winners. Add the "best" G5 team and add 2 at large teams from the rest. This is not a perfect setup but much better than the current setup.

Even if there was an 8 team playoff this year UCF wouldn't have been a part of it...
By the terms he described they would have been though.

Yes, thank you. Kind of like the basketball tourney. 6 auto bids and 2 at-large which could potentially be another G5 program.

Just like a G5 team is never getting into the four team format, we'd never get a second team in an eight team format.
