There is a lot of talent coming back. And big time transfers at QB and WR who will now be eligible to play. Kiffin will find a suitable OC replacement too

Not to diminish FAU's potential next year (they look like they'll do awesome), but this list is pretty terrible. Somehow leaves off UCF (even if you think they're going to drop a bit due to Frost leaving, they're the defending [undefeated] champions and should at least crack the pre-season top 25). Also doesn't have any other Non-P5s other than Boise and FAU.

Whether Briles' loss will set us back is anyone's guess. I do not think so. He will be replaced by someone who fits Kiffin's offensive philosophy and the talent is already there.

As for the #7 team - who knows how much worse it than playing the #9 as we did this year.

Here's another good one. Sam McKewon, an AP Top 25 poll voter, has Florida Atlantic ranked #6 in his way-too-early college football top 25 for 2018. 03-thumbsup

FAU earned it and assuming they get a solid OC replacement, I agree they'll be very good in 2018.

Florida Atlantic at UCF is Sports Illustrated's week 4 game of the week. Honorable mention: Florida Atlantic at Oklahoma (week 1).

If you guys can do like Houston and start the season with a big win over Oklahoma, you'll surge in the top 25 rankings.

Big difference in playing on a neutral site vs playing in Norman.

In regards to crowd size and pre-hype, yes. In regards to going on the road and beating what will be a top 10 Oklahoma, not so much.
