I gotta say this....Teh Rivalry better watch out cuz The Havoc in the Heartland has come to play. If the Coogs don't come and fill up a third of our football stadium next season I'm not sure we can even consider it a real rivalry.

I was rooting hard for those 'hungry huskies'...I'm proud to have all these teams in the AAC.

UConn, Cincy, Memphis, Temple, WSU, Houston, Tulsa, SMU, etc...this conf has some damn fine hoops.

I hope an AAC rep was at the game and decides to give us a midday Saturday game @ Tulsa every year. Really fun game. Really fun atmosphere. Not a great performance but one of those times when you just have to be happy with the W.

What does Oklahoma spend their toll money on? Because it’s definitely not Turnpike maintenance.

now that I think about Memphis played Temple in the NIT Final Four that season...Memphis won on a last second Kelly Wise dunk if I remember right.

It was Cal vs Chaney in an all out NYC war...fun memory

Wichita States NIT Championship is what basically kick-started this run. It's definitely beneficial IMHO. It was quite fun. WSU blasted most of the opponents and had a fun Championship game against Alabama when they were coached by Anthony Grant.

I think most of it lines politicians wallets. But the bad roads is also how we keep too many Texans from coming in. It deters them for the most part.

Now if our team would just play like this every night. We'd win a lot of games.

It was a fun environment. It was not our best tonight (we shot really bad from 3 - some of that was Tulsa)but TU really showed up tonight. They played really good defense, better than I thought that could, especially in the paint. Taplin was feelin it tonight. Now for doing it consistently, it’s not easy to do. Good Luck

I hope you weren't the Hurricane on the drums tonight, cause that guy was brutal.

I actually thought we had more open 3s than usual tonight. Tulsa definitely took away our bigs which was the right strategy with Tulsa having a shot to tie at the buzzer. Henderson definitely wanted to stick it to WSU and Taplin was amazing. That definitely was a 50/50 game and it felt like if we played that same game over it’d be 50/50 again. I never thought Tulsa was in over their heads at any point in the game.
