First we need to not trade HOD away. Hopefully we can pick up Indy vs. ACC again. But if an Eastern school wins the championship, I don’t see either of those bowls wanting them.
Agreed. We need to keep the HOD this season. Actually, I had no idea we were getting it back next season. That is great news, if true. I also agree we need to add a higher profile game for the best team in the east. FAU should have had a better match up this past bowl season.
I think the Boca Raton Bowl is our biggest bowl. We just need to have better opponent there than the likes of Akron..
Akron was probably saying the same thing. 'We've got to play FAU, never heard of them.' Being a nice destination doesn't matter much as far as 'biggest bowl'. It falls short in attendance, TV viewers, payout, and class of opponent. The HOD bowl is our biggest bowl.
