I love how Notre Dame’s athletic director gets to be on the management committee with all the commissioners. They should have been told to join a conference or go pound sand.

They need him to make it a 6-5 voting block in favor of the P5.

Board of Managers 5 Ps, 5 Gs, 1 Notre Dame
Management Committee 5 Ps, 5 Gs, 1 Notre Dame
Notre Dame votes with the "P5" so you get this:

Selection Committee
Kirby Hocutt - Chair, Director of Athletics, Texas Tech
Frank Beamer - Former Head Coach, Virginia Tech
Jeff Bower - Former Head Coach, Southern Mississippi
Herb Deromedi - Former Head Coach, Central Michigan; Master’s degree, Michigan; Bachelor’s degree, Michigan.
Chris Howard - President, Robert Morris University; VP for Leadership and Strategic Initiatives, Oklahoma (2005-2009)
Tom Jernstedt - Former NCAA Executive Vice President; Played football 4 years at Oregon ; three athletic administrative positions at Oregon (1969-1972).
Bobby Johnson - Former Head Coach, Vanderbilt
Jeff Long - Former Director of Athletics, Arkansas
Rob Mullens - Director of Athletics, Oregon
Dan Radakovich - Director of Athletics, Clemson
Gene Smith - Director of Athletics, Ohio State
Steve Wieberg - Former College Football Reporter, USA TODAY; Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Missouri
Tyrone Willingham - Former Head Coach of three FBS Institutions, Washington (2005-2008), Notre Dame (2002-2004), Stanford (1995-2001).

12 out of 13 on the Selection Committee pimpin' the "P5".
