ESPN Top 100 Prospects for 2018 Draft:

32. Jarrey Foster
40. Landry Shamet
43. Jacob Evans

My thoughts: 1) How is Landry Shamet only 40? That will change by seasons end. I remember Semi Ojeleye was like 72 at this point last year, so there will be big changes, but still. 2) How is Quinton Rose not ranked? 3) I don't see Jarrey Foster as #32 and higher than Evans. He is a better athlete than Evans, but Evans is a sold athlete and a real good shooter.

I think Shake and Shamet will both go pro. I think Evans and Jarrey* will test the waters and probably come back, but too early to know on them.

*If Jarrey didn't suffer a season-ending knee injury last night.

Evans is arguably the best all-around defender on arguably the best defense in the country and brings a 47/40/80 shooting clip with considerable height for a COmbo guard (6'6"-6'7") depending on the site and a very good wingspan (6'11")...he'll be a solid rotational 1-3 in the NBA, and at the very least will be a 3 and D guy for a few years. He'll move up the rankings throughout the year.

He is the epitome of the modern NBA's 3 & D guy and if he develops a dribble drive game, he will be a great shooting guard off the bench.

You don't think Rose is a top 100 prospect? I think he is a dang good player. Didn't say he should go pro after this season, but he should be a top 100 prospect in my book. 6'8 bouncy player who averages 15 and almost 5, 2SPG and shoots 39+% from 3.

I agree with the guys above on Evans. He is an outstanding player on both sides of the court and the definition of a 3&D 2/3 guy in the NBA (similar to Sterling Brown, but with potential for a slightly higher ceiling).

I have absolutely no problem with Shamet's draft numbers being low and continuing to fall.

I am sure you don't, but I would be shocked if he didn't end up between 25-35. He is an NBA caliber PG.

Agreed. He's going to go the NBA. If he's 25-35, I hope he stays. Unless you are guaranteed to be in the first round, another year can't hurt (except that whole injury thing)

I'll accept top third of the pack with a very messy start to the season. If we have one of the top coaches in America, and the 2nd best recruiting class in the conference, a middle-of-the-pack finish in the AAC will not pass muster. CB never displays humility in order to engender approval.

P.S. Do the ChicKUnhacks shoot for a middle-pack finish when reloading in the B12-2? Well... we shouldn't either.

Yep, next year is a free for all. OOC will be especially interesting as a lot of this year's leaders will be going through more growing pains than normal.
