Gameday has been at one of our games. You then proceeded to get punked in the game with supposedly almighty Lamar Jackson trying to run up stats against 3rd and 4th stringers.

And we've sold out for SC State when we've played. They aren't a rival either.

Yes they aren't worthy of being a rival to the mighty T-shirt wearing fanboy of Clemson. Get over yourself.

Let me remind what can happen when one team doesn't respect a conference rival

Sure sounds like you...03-hissyfit

Clemson fans only consider SC and UGA (most pout and blame the ACC they don't play yearly anymore) as rivals and choose to ignore the trophy game with NC State. They also have something bizarre going on with BC.

Ignorance is bliss I guess.

South Carolina is our main rival. In conference we have rivalries with GT & FSU. Georgia would be a rival if we played more often because of geography and the fact we recruit against each other head to head.

We have a trophy game with NC State but nobody I know considers them a rival simply because if you aren't geographically linked then one needs to win every now & then. NC State doesn't uphold it's end of the bargain.

RE: ACC Football Schedule Release Wednesday 2 PM
I don't really think we have a true conference rival. Obviously Scar is our biggest but there are a lot of differing opinions about who our number two is. Older people tend to think UGA or GT, younger people tend to think FSU due to recent history. Nobody I know thinks of NC State or BC as rivals. I think the Louisville series has been a lot of fun thus far though. They are probably the biggest draw on the home slate this year.

Nobody has suggested UL is Clemson's biggest rival...but the douchy dismissive attitude by certain fans will often come back and bite their ass.

I’d like to see the Carolina schools switch it up every now and then like UNC vs Duke and State vs Wake. Maybe even UNC vs Wake and State vs Duke when they’re scheduled.

Danyell Ferguson's mother said West Virginia fans were so hostile she feared for her life while seated in a police car behind an ambulance that was taking her injured son to a hospital during the first half of Saturday's game in Morgantown, W.Va.

"I was in fear of my life, and I'm a police officer," Doris Ferguson said.

Danyell, a senior running back, dislocated his hip in the first quarter of the Hurricanes' 10-7 victory. UM officials said Sunday that the ambulance was rocked and nearly tipped over outside the stadium with Ferguson in it

Ferguson, a Miami police officer, said she did not see fans rocking the ambulance because she was told by the police officer to duck down and out of sight for safety reasons. He was concerned because she was wearing a UM football jersey.

Ferguson said she was in the squad car of a Pittsburgh area policeman, who had escorted the team from the Pittsburgh airport. She said she heard angry fans beating on the ambulance.

Ferguson said the Pittsburgh officer turned on his siren-lights to prevent West Virginia fans from surrounding the ambulance, but she said they challenged his authority.

"They were screaming,`You have no jurisdiction here. You're from Pittsburgh.'"

"The fans up there were absolutely nasty."

Florida St's #5-10 games.

@ Louisville (8 wins)
@ Miami (10 wins)
Wake Forest (8 wins)
Clemson (12 wins)
@ NC State (9 wins)
@ Notre Dame (10 wins)

Six straight opponents who collectively averaged 9.5 wins in 2017, and four of the six are on the road. The 'Noles will likely start that stretch 3-1 or 4-0, but that's brutal.

Agree that is brutal.

BC has a brutal stretch as well.

Clemson got a sweet schedule. No Monday night, Thursday night, Friday night, or short week I believe. They got taken care of by the ACC....and they should have. Great job ACC by taking care of your team that is competing at the elite level.

Conference is getting smarter.

Cool story. Anyway, Miami has played Pitt more than any team besides FSU or UF so it makes sense.

@USF week 2. Would love to know what Bobinsquatch was thinking when he did that one. I could at least understand the home and home with UCF since when it was scheduled Todd Stansbury was the UCF AD. But a home and home with USF? So if you win nobody cares. And if you lose you'll hear P6 until you die. It's the very definition of everything to lose and nothing to gain.

That is all I was saying. Kaplony said their home schedule it pure garbage on numbered years when FSU isn't there and ONLY south carolina is worthy, and I just begged to differ. I think "like always" our game is gonna sell out and be epic and usual.

You need to understand that Louisville's problem is that it's not Georgia or Auburn or Tennessee... at least in the eyes of some Clemson fans.

And until we beat them, they'll never think of us as an equal. We have to earn that. Until then, I have no problem with Clemson looking down on us (amd I'm not saying that all their fans do).

Until this past season, all our games have been very close. But close only counts in horse shoes.

It takes a while to establish rivalries. They can't be forced.
