Doesn't mean much, but interesting.

Why does that surprise you? Cincy can’t play themselves and they purposely set UC up to play WSU last. Of course their conference SOS will be lowest. Geez!!

First. I didn’t say it surprised me.
Second. Cincy has a conference SOS lower than all other teams that also have not played Cincy.

I found that interesting along with Ken Pom still predicting Cincy to win the league by 3 games

Third. That was a test to see if you were capable of having an intelligent conversation without being toxic and acting like a child with someone that has never done anything to provoke you. How do you think you did?

Point taken. Guess it’s become a reflex action with WSU fans. I’ll work on it.

We are good. I can understand where you’re coming from considering what you have had to deal with.

This has been a great season to redo Cincy’s stadium. I’m sure that led to those 4 dog OOC games. The league gave UC two back though by only scheduling ECU and S Fla once each.

Self-deprecatory time travel to cover one's tracks in the face of a painful defeat is the epitome of cowardice.

We played bad, we got hammered, we lost. DEAL WITH IT!

Do you think 1,000+ fans took the short 10 hr. trip to Houston because they expected to be entertained by a hard fought loss? 07-coffee3

Opinions are one thing. Presenting those opinions as established facts merely waiting to happen is quite another.

Nobody is saying don't believe in your team, we're just saying quit trying to peddle your "expertise" in telling us who's good and who's bad. Let's just say I won't be taking any financial advice from you if your market predictions match your sports predictions.

Excuse the shocker fans, some of them have a bad good complex. They believe their opinion is fact. Arguing with them is trolling and the mods should instantly intervene and hand out vacations and bans.

I don’t see more than two losses for Cincy. One being WSU. I expect two more losses for WSU too. One at Cincy. Seems like a reasonable expectation to me.

KenPom ranks the Conference SOS for teams based on who they have played in conference right now. Cincy is ranked dead last by a large margin to this point.

KenPom also projects that Cincy will lose 2 games in conference and win it by 3 games.

Doesn't mean much, but interesting.

yup...most of our toughest conference games haven't happened yet.

We have a lot of good ones coming up...

UH
@UH
WSU
@WSU
@Tulane
@Memphis
@UCONN
@SMU

I will be surprised if we don't drop a few in there....

I'm flattered that you think at UConn will be a "good one" but it wont be lol

May not be a good one for UConn fans...but Cincy fans will enjoy it.

@ Temple
Cincy
@ UCF
@ Memphis or @ Tulane
@ Cincy
@ SMU

If you lose all those, you're not making the tourney. Do you really believe that?

@ Tulsa was basically a coin flip. We could have easily lost that one. Literally a Corey Henderson 3 away from dropping it. Temple is much better than Tulsa. If UCF can find their Tacko-less identity they can be much better than Tulsa. Memphis and Tulane are about equal with Tulsa. Two coin flips.

Temple may have more talent on their roster but Tulsa is honestly playing better basketball right now.

Before beating Memphis at home last night, Tulsa had lost 4 in a row.

Now one jab at your poor attendance for your first 8 home games this year. There is no excuse. Your tickets are dirt cheap and the TSU arena is within walking distance of your campus (the 2 schools are literally right next to each other- UH basketball fans park for free at the UH football stadium and take a short free shuttle right to the TSU arena). It is about as close to being on campus as an off campus site can be. You can not use the excuse that it is in a bad part of town either, it is right next to UH.

You had a good crowd on Saturday. Hopefully many of these people will attend more games. Your basketball team deserves better support than the few hundred that had been showing up.

So did that ease the sting of getting rolled like a cheap croissant a little bit?

Ya, I didn't think so.

Seriously, it's hilarious, those that lose to us always seem to feel the need to bark about the attendance here in this msg board, even though the UH posters on this board probably all attend the games if they live in town.

So since we're already going to the games, your message doesn't apply to us. But still, we'd like to help get your message out.

So just what would you like those of us Coog fans here to do? Form a posse and head down to campus and knock folks on the head to knock them out and drag them to the games?

Quit being silly about your attendance harping, especially after you just got hammered by the Coogs.

Like I said, hopefully many of the people who came to see UH play the Shockers will go to future games. Maybe the WSU game will rekindle some interest in your basketball program. UH basketball seemed to be a very well kept secret in Houston until last Saturday. A good team with cheap tickets, free parking and a free short shuttle ride and still no attendance. The WSU game did prove that UH basketball fans actually do exist.

I am not sure what else you can do. Your tickets are practically free already. I might be able to understand it a little bit if your team was lousy, but your team is actually very good. I think people keep talking about the missing UH fans because it really does not make any sense and it looks terrible on TV. It is like a great unsolved mystery.

Why is spanking us that hard? We could win or lose almost any game we have, especially on the road.

I just don't think you can give an edge to either team, when they both have a long losing streak. One game against a middle-of-the-road team doesn't provide much separation.

I think people keep talking about the missing UH fans because it really does not make any sense. It is like a great unsolved mystery.
^^^ why I will always hate Wichita State
I grew to hate Wichita the last few months, but after the humbling losses, many of the troll comments vanished and a few humble wsu fans made me reconsider.. thanks for making we remember why I hate your team and hope you crash and burn

Let me make it clear, us Houston fans don't care even one bit about your opinion about our attendance or that of a single Wichita fan.. not even an tiny bit...you arent our magically sell out, GET OVER YOUR DAMN SELVES .."we are so great we drew out your invisible fans" we had larger numbers for SMU when we upset them 2 years ago...
Please stop pretending like you know our attendance, our history, we don't care about your opinion.. you don't even know our campus...as you are measuring from the football arena to tsus arena not where the main students actually live.. which I bet you don't even have a clue..(hint it's not the non uh apartments next to the stadium/Cambridge)

Literally some of the wichita fans say they didn't know houston existed before joining the AAC, almost all never watched a single UH game before this year, non followed us or are even familiar with our situation.. but Yet you all feel confident enough to nonstop speak on us like you know us...

Take your whipping and be on your way

Both teams have taken their whooping and been on there way now. On another note, the pictures shown during the broadcast of your new arena look awesome!

RE: 1/20 AAC "Super Saturday" Basketball Games
SMU remaining schedule:

at UCONN (Gampel)
ECU
at Tulsa
at Houston
Cincy
Memphis
at UCF
at ECU
WSU
Houston
at USF

The operative question is STILL can they win on the road, despite the showing in Wichita. Aberration or real progress? The Houston road game will be a doozy, as I'm sure all Hitachi homies will now remind me. Cincy and WSU home games will be brutal, as usual. With three losses already there isn't much margin for error. Sure wish we had the Tulane fiasco back! That being said, this appears to be a fairly favorable schedule compared to some of the others. Gotta win on the road!!

Eh....we're trying to get Ollie #fired. If you help us out with that, then I'd consider that a job well done.
