Great basketball game! Too bad not many people could see it. The top of this conference is gonna be a battle. MT, WKU, ODU, UAB, and Marshall all are about even in my eye.

Good game. King is crazy nailing those fadeaway threes haha. Can't wait for the return game. Hopefully Thompson shows up, we are terrible without him. (not an excuse at all, announcers just said he was sick)

King was in a zone and I'm not sure he can maintain for the rest of the year. We need Thompson to become himself again. See you guys March 1st

He was actually playing better than that until we got into conference play. He had already rung up three of the first seven C-USA player of the week awards during non-conf.

Playing good is one thing but what the difference maker was when he hit 3 buzzer beaters with very low percentage shots, making one happens now and then, but he was making stuff that don’t happen often, much less over and over... King was special Saturday night and was the sole reason MT won the game.... heck of a player.

We've both had nights like that over the years. Sometimes I still have nightmares of OMV draining threes from the parking lot, don't get me started on Courtney Lee.

My undergrad years were a decidedly less fun time in this rivalry for Blue Raiders.

It was a game that deserved to be on ESPN or at least a national broadcast. Too very good teams that should be in the tournament in what was a great environment. I kept thinking how I wanted to text friends and family to watch it, but I knew they wouldn't log into Facebook just to watch it. Oh well.

Man, your big guy Coleby is a beast.

It's rare that a guy his size (wide body) can go up so flawlessly and get those oops, as well as a very nice touch at the charity stripe. He looks more than 245.

I cannot imagine having to guard him.

I thought you guys should have gotten it to him more often.

What kind of talent does Kansas have if they played him sparingly ?

Absolutely love Cobey, great person and just love hearing him talk... very genuine. His game has really stepped up as the season has progressed, he is a great free throw shooter ( like 24 of the last 25). I think Thompson being sick limited the passes that normally would have been made to the post since he is BY FAR our best passer
