2 of the Top 15 in the AAC .. Nice!

Houston and SMU give 4 in the top 26 for the AAC.

RE: 1/22 Bracketology
All we can do now is root for Houston to solidify themselves as the 3rd tournament team. 8-3 down the stretch should easily do it, or 7-4 with a win in the conference tournament. There's no reason Houston can't do that as long as the injury bug doesn't bite them.

Last time Boise got in they had to do the play in game at Dayton, against Dayton, that was wrong.

so wtf should the committee do, push Dayton up to the main draw just because?

Yes, or move the locale. No one is supposed to have home games, no one cares whether a team is seeded 12th or a play in game for 12th seed. Myself, I would prefer to go back to having real regionals pre 78.

I think the team seeded 12th would absolutely mind if they were forced to go play in a play in game.

Nobody outside of the room would ever know. They have done a lot crazier things than that in the past. Rthatbwas just another way they stack the deck against non P5.

Houston is a bubble team and far far far from a good bet of going 8-3 in the league the rest of the way. It's highly unlikely they play again like they played against us. That was their Superbowl effort of the season. We just happened to put up one of our worst efforts on the exact same night (Marshall's words not mine) gifting them a signature win and raising everyone's expectations. They're going to have to keep bringing that same kind of effort (against teams that don't inspire them like the Shox) to pull off what you're proposing.

If Wichita State hadn't joined the AAC this year, the league could possibly be staring one bid straight in the face... That's all I'll say about that.

You should seriously hope that’s not the case. SMU is now a bad home loss. If you’re right, UH would become a bad road loss.

One more and WSU would be joining them on the bubble.

At this stage, it’s about bad losses. And UC doesn’t have any.

That Tulane loss looms large. Win that and UH is probably a single digit seed right now, granted in the dreaded 8/9 game. Then again, no one is really good this season.

RPI #27 for Cincy...vs RPI #47 for WSU. One more bad loss...

Do you realize how bad it looks when I asked an innocent question and you couldn't answer it?

Don't like it much when it's turned around on you, does it?

With no quality wins, Cincinnati could be a loss or two away from the bubble.

Right here. Check em out for yourself. But you’re right to an extent. #47 is Temple who UC beat twice. WSUs best is #45.

UC doesn't have any great wins in terms of 'signature' this year. We have a lot of good wins and zero bad losses. The two best teams we've played, we've lost to, but neither are bad losses (XU and Florida).

It is what it is.

Edit: UC is 7-2 vs RPI Groups 1 and 2 respectively. Not shabby at all. (That's 4-2 vs. Group 1 and 3-0 vs Group 2).

I'll take that every time. Just need to keep going.

RE: 1/22 Bracketology
the thing that's funny for Cincy right now is they need Houston and Wichita to really dominate the rest of the way to make them as good of opponents as possible to give them that possible signature win(especially Wichita).
