I don't think this will be a 55-53 rock fight like the game in Philly a few weeks back. It appears that Mick Cronin has this team's attention, and his comments to the media the other day indicate he has been all over them this week after the performance against ECU.

UC turned the ball over 16 times against the Owls last time. That's not going to happen again. The primary culprits have had a lot more ball control of late. I also doubt Temple is going to grab 18 offensive rebounds again as well.

I think the 20 point margin at home someone else mentioned is a bit optimistic for this one, but I can see the Cats winning by half that margin.

FWIW Kenpom projects a 69-54 win for Cincy.

These are the type games that make the AAC tough. Even though they are in tenth place in the conference, Temple is capable of beating any team on any night. I would not be surprised if this is a close game.

Temple is capable of winning by a point or losing by 20.

Let me be clear: I do not like this Owls team. Too many coaching mistakes, too many mental lapses, too many lackadaisical attempts at defending and rebounding, too many dribble-25-seconds-hoist-an-off-balance-3-attempts. I just have to warn our Cincinnati brethren that Owls-Bearcats are typically anyone can win affairs, regardless of past or future performance. I don’t expect a Temple victory, but I would not be shocked by one.

The last 3 games were ECU, USF and UCF. Not a tough stretch to base the offense off of. I think temple is better than all 3 of them right now. They got play a ucf team that has only 1 offensive threat and he was in his first game back.

UC won't play a better defensive team all year than that UCF team with Taco Fall (unless they draw Virginia in the NCAA tournament). UC's second half offense against UCF was incredibly impressive. I didn't think the first half was as bad as the score (just too many missed shots and sloppy plays). UCF and Temple are similar level teams, but a home game against Temple should be easier than a road game at UCF. I agree that its hard to judge much from the USF and ECU games.

Cincy- current 25- win 24 lose 40
Temple- current 47- win 34 lose 46

Cane Broome didn't play in the first game against Temple for UC. I'd expect him to be a difference maker in this match-up, particularly later in the 1st half if he happens to come off the bench.

The X factor for Temple seems to be Quinton Rose. He's averaged 21 ppg in the 2 AAC games they've won. He's averaged just under 9 ppg in the 5 AAC games they've lost.

Temple has good players with Josh Brown and company. They beat SMu at their place. We better be ready or we will get beat. Is Cold blooded predicting the upset yet?
