I don't think there is enough activity to warrant it. Wish we could get the BYB guys to come over here. The mechanics of that page are terrible, and the entertainment provided by a lunatic fringe with an average age of 82 is just the teets.

That said, this page needs more traffic, rather than everything going to AAC Conference Talk, before any work should be done.

You know, I agree with you on this. At the time I posted on GTS thread about getting board enhancements, I was unaware of how much traffic the other boards were receiving. This page clearly does not deserve a facelift before those boards. Plus it sounds like they are dealing with potential copyright infringements that should be addressed which is one of the drivers for the updates.

I did reach out to GTS after messaging GB, the moderator for this page, asking if it was possible to get a simple color update to ECU purple and gold. And asked if it was possible to name the board at some point to something we could take suggestions and vote on, if it’s allowed. Name it something simple, like some of the other boards I saw like Dukes Domain, Monarch’s Den, Bearcat Banter, and Toledo Launchpad as examples. I don’t think that’s overstepping too much. I refrained from asking for anything more at this point until we prove that we can steer some traffic to this board.

As you pointed out, and without question the functionality of these boards is far superior to the BYB site. So much easier to actually follow threads. On BYB, if you come in an hour or two after the initial post it could be buried under a number of new posts. It’s a bit of outdated format for sure.

Still waiting to hear back from GTS. Just messaged him today.
