RE: 1/25 AAC Basketball Games
SMU @ UConn
SMU- current RPI 53- win 49 loss 60
UConn- current RPI 85- win 75 loss 104

UCF @ Wichita
UCF- current RPI 67- win 54 loss 67
Wichita- current RPI 29- win 26 loss 40

USF @ Tulane
USF- current RPI 305- win 276 loss 302
Tulane- current RPI 89- win 98 loss 127

Kind of lol funny to see a Tulane game where they are playing the RPI bomb instead of them being the RPI bomb instead.

SMU needs a win to keep the NCAA train on the tracks.

WSU needs to get the train back on the tracks.

Tulane needs to beat the teams they should so they have a chance to finish around .500 in conference play.

We are having a whiteout special for this game. Getting the attendance that we did for the Houston game would be massive.

A win for SMU at Gampel would be a huge confidence booster for the Ponies.
You can’t really play the injury card because both teams have been very seriously dinged.

It’s about UCONN player pride vs SMU player road confidence.

Must see TV.

I’ve been to two SMU/Tulane games in NOLA when LB coached. Half full gym and most of the students left early. Is that little joint ever full and rocking? Can Dunleavy make a difference? That could be a VERY difficult place to win.

But I can play the Ollie card, which is the biggest ding of them all.

SMU by 5 touchdowns.

It was a nightmare for UH. SMU lost here, but the crowd was 60% of the size. UConn crowd was acceptable. It is slowly improving.

either..... “Shake just hit another three....” or: we get the old NCAA round one rim-out”

Could eventually be the hardest ticket in the conference. I hope that happens.

I've been to it full before and it was a crazy fun atmosphere. Vs. LSU wbb with both teams ranked and Tulane won in dbl overtime. Loved it lolol

But most of the time it is pathetic attendance. Getting better?

Tulane fans actually show up for Houston. We are more indifferent to SMU. I have no idea why.

It is regrettable that Fall is out. It would have been fun watching WSU adjust to his size.

Hopefully one more notch on the #fireollie belt. Unless you listen to the pompous know-it-all's on the Boneyard. They think he's getting another year to right the good ship UCONN. 03-banghead

I was looking forward to seeing how we attacked him. We did play a team with a 7'3" center a couple of years ago but he didn't play very much and got smoked when he was in but Tacko is a different animal.
