And this is different from Washington D.C. how?

Sports reflect our society.

Change has to begin somewhere. Pointing over there or over there where bad stuff happens doesn't alter the facts: as long as they can get us to cheer for the green and white or the blue and white or the little D or the little R, outrage will pile on outrage.

I never thought a university could top Penn State for utter filth and degradation. Michigan State is giving them competition.

Maybe it's time to stop cheering and start screaming.

I was merely pointing out that when Barney Frank utilized under aged male pages it apparently wasn't enough. When Monica got a stained blue dress it apparently wasn't enough. And there have been plenty of republican escapades as well especially in the House.

I'm just saying why are we acting so shocked? This corruption strikes at the soul of who we are. Laws have to be enforced without regard to personality, position, or profit. To do less is the essence of corruption.

You suggest screaming. I'm merely saying that the screaming should have started at least 60 years ago.

BTW: Michigan State is going to be a combination of Penn State and Baylor. How soon we forget the Bears.

I still cringe every time I see Ken Star being interviewed. That interview exposing how he was run by his handler destroyed any credibility he had in my eyes.

He needs a job. He has zero ***** to give. He went to Pepperdine; his brother-in-law flamed out of coaching so that conflict's not relevant. He knows sports, but isn't out of the sports-industrial complex. Most of all, as a Democratic ex-President he has the best chance of getting deference from the academic mandarins who control the universities that make up the NCAA.

Give him the powers Kennesaw Mountain Landis had after the Black Sox Scandal, and treat this as an existential moment for college sports on the same level as that one. Blow it all up.

Or, to suggest a name from the other party, who is in academia and also knows college athletics: Condi Rice.

Of course, neither one would be interested in that mess of a job.

Surely Trump has fired someone who can handle the job!

Nobody.

Never mind, I found the new president.

I could see her name in the ring. I think there will be a strong push from some quarters for a female president. Like you said, she has the sports background, is female, and being a woman of color would get her bonus points from some.

Um, he attended Occidental and transferred to Columbia.

Plus, Michelle ain't moving to Indy.

Their tax-exempt status might also be in peril.

In all seriousness, there probably isn't a better candidate for the job.

Right or wrong, the NCAA will hire from within its own community...she checks that box.

Sports acumen...check. In fact, she once said she'd like to run the NFL one day. That'll never happen, but I'd say the NCAA would pose an interesting challenge that she might find intriguing.

Her time in the White House proves she can run large bureaucracies...check.

Identity politics aside, I doubt anyone out there has a better resume.

She isn't moving to Indianapolis.

Plus, she may believe refute CTE and campus assaults like she believed in Yellowcake.

She's all about the $$$.

So who is going to be the new NCAA President? There is only one person proven to never waver on ethics and beliefs by big money or intense peer pressure and I fully trust will always do what’s right.

Well it would give him an opportunity to make endless lists of the FCS schools and consider their placement. But how is he on investigations?
