SMU could get to the Sweet 16 with their draw lol

Let's see if they can get past the first round first. They've had some good teams recently but 0 NCAA Tournament wins to show for it. Heck, let's see if they even make the NCAA Tournament this year.

SMU vs Creighton for a chance for the sweet 16? Is it possible that neither wins?

It's so funny, SMU has only won their way into the Sweet 16 once. All 5 other times, they were already there to start. Creighton has done so 3 times but that's as far as they've ever gone, except in 1941, when the Tournament only had 8 teams.

1/4 of all of Creighton's NCAA Tournament wins were in the consolation bracket.

Ah, really? You’re talking **** to SMU about getting past the first round. Do you know how long it has been since Houston won a tourney game?? Try 1984. You have four straight first round losses. So SMU has a more recent NCAA tournament win. More recent NCAA appearances. More recent conference championships, and you’re talking ****. Okay.

Ah yes, 2 more tourney wins than UH in 33 years, 1 of them in 1985, none since the 80's and exactly one more appearance than UH in that time, including two recently. You should be so proud.

Easy there, most of UConn's history came within the last 20 years. All that and you still don't have more Final Fours, you were just excellent at the crapshoot, granted you stepped up in 1999 instead of choking like in 1983, so kudos to you there. You also didn't have the misfortune of running into some of the best teams of all-time with many of your best teams.

Don't talk down on us like we have no history, it's highly celebrated and historic.

UConn, Cincy, Houston, Memphis all have storied history. UCONN and Cincy have the championships, although UConn has more and more recent ones at that. Houston and Memphis both have finals and final fours not so long ago, although Memphis had one within the last decade. SMU and WSU have final fours, but only WSU's was recent.

What joke? It wasn't funny and neither was your stirring the pot emoji. Leave the jokes to professional comedians

Not finding the joke funny is one thing. Not spotting the joke is bad.

A joke has to be funny in order to be "spotted." A pot stirring emoji does not accomplish this. It's Ok that you are terrible at jokes, bro.

I have ascended to a higher plane. It is impossible to go back. I am now here to provide wisdom, advice, and perspective to this community.

There are some fine young trolls developing that are being mentored and nurtured by Shere Khan, Troll Emeritus. Seek ye out them for your troll needs.

I must needs go to the mointain and meditate. Go in peace, my son.

An unprovoked vicious attack. I understand you people are not used to getting smashed in the face in conference play and as a result, you are collectivley agitated, defensive, and angry. It is my ability to see this, accept it, and employ empathy that enables me to not respond in kind. I know that you are good people and as you learn your place in this conference, eventually your innate goodness will come through. It’s tough going from 8th grade and being kings of the school to 9th grade and getting wedgies from the upperclassmen.

The Village Sage has spoken. Go in peace, my son.

Definitely, and the NCAA will try to make it happen if the seeds line up.

They did that with Memphis and Louisville back in the early 90s when we were in the Great Midwest and Louisville was still in the Metro.

We were a 6 seed and they put Louisville as our 11 seed.

BTW, I was looking at the Region that season. Here are the coaches in the region:

Roy Williams
Nolan Richardson
Gene Keady
Lute Olsen
Jim Boehiem
Steve Fisher
Denny Crum
Herb Sendek
Dick Bennett
Larry Finch

You arent gonna find many regions with better coaching than that.
