I think logistically what he has for SMU can't happen- not allowed to send PIG team so far away from Dayton.

Big change in this for me is they have Cincy ahead of WVU, so now sending Cincy to Pittsburgh instead of WVU.

WVU losing 4 of 5 and blowing double digit leads in three of those has opened up people's eyes.

I think that may be the case for any team playing NMSU. They are the 12 seed that you just don't want to see. Esp considering the other 12's are Buffalo and Loyola-Chicago(and the PIG winner with Boise/NC State). You'd take any of those over New Mexico St.

Maybe so, but Buffalo is no joke. Cincinnati controlled the game against them earlier this year for the most part, but the final score only ended up being 73-67. They could absolutely upset someone in the first round.

Buffalo pulling an upset wouldn't be a huge surprise to me, neither would Loyola-Chicago for that matter. I do think that New Mexico St. is the best of those 3 however.

I actually don't hate SMU. But their tourney success leaves a lot to be desired

As long as we're in Pittsburgh, Detroit, or Nashville and not somewhere in the upper left of the country I could care less about our seed.

They are going to make an exception for you guys and allow you play at a non regional site. First round game in HAWAII!!!! ... then back to Pittsburgh for the second round.
