Lunardi from today:
Houston 11 E vs Seton Hall, Ohio St in Wichita
Wichita 5 W vs New Mexico St, Tennessee in Boise
SMU 11 W PIG vs Syracuse, Creighton, Arizona in San Diego
Cincy 3 S vs Northeastern, Louisville in Pittsburgh

Houston last team with a bye
SMU 3rd team in

I think logistically what he has for SMU can't happen- not allowed to send PIG team so far away from Dayton.

Big change in this for me is they have Cincy ahead of WVU, so now sending Cincy to Pittsburgh instead of WVU.

New Mexico State might be the team I least want to face in the first round. That team is way better than any ranking will show and Chris Jans in a mastermind that knows WSU inside and out.

WVU losing 4 of 5 and blowing double digit leads in three of those has opened up people's eyes.

I think that may be the case for any team playing NMSU. They are the 12 seed that you just don't want to see. Esp considering the other 12's are Buffalo and Loyola-Chicago(and the PIG winner with Boise/NC State). You'd take any of those over New Mexico St.

That would be a matchup nightmare for WSU.

SMU could get to the Sweet 16 with their draw lol

only thing you would wonder is teacher vs pupil, would it be similar to what has happened in football with Saban vs his former coaches? What is he now 12-0 or something crazy like that?

SMU vs Creighton for a chance for the sweet 16? Is it possible that neither wins?

I’m not sure I’d wanna find out. NMSU will be a sexy sleeper Sweet 16 pick. And rightfully so.

Maybe so, but Buffalo is no joke. Cincinnati controlled the game against them earlier this year for the most part, but the final score only ended up being 73-67. They could absolutely upset someone in the first round.

Buffalo pulling an upset wouldn't be a huge surprise to me, neither would Loyola-Chicago for that matter. I do think that New Mexico St. is the best of those 3 however.

I actually don't hate SMU. But their tourney success leaves a lot to be desired

As long as we're in Pittsburgh, Detroit, or Nashville and not somewhere in the upper left of the country I could care less about our seed.

Definitely, and the NCAA will try to make it happen if the seeds line up.
