I'm not overly worried about the numbers, but I figured UC would end up somewhere at either 6 or 7. So, 8 is a tad low, IMO.
Not worth getting upset over, but I noticed it nonetheless.

At this point .. Top 4 seed is all that either WSU or UC should worry about.

I'm surprised they have you ranked behind 4 loss KU. Especially since 3 of those losses are at home.
I guess the KU bias shouldn't surprise me anymore.

KU is going to go down a few more times, so I wouldn't worry about it at this point.

I’ve never thought about playing a conference foe in the NCAA tournament. The AAC move is still providing new experiences. I hope it happens sometime late in the tournament. That’d be a really fun atmosphere.

One time I remember them seeding four Big East teams in one quadrant of the bracket. True, the Big East had sent like 11 teams into the tournament, but the seeding guaranteed that a chunk of the Conference would be impossible to advance. I remember that 2 BE teams faced off in the second round, for example, thereby eliminating one of them right off the bat.
Meanwhile, I think Syracuse ended up as the only BE team in their quadrant with a 1 or 2 seed and a pretty easy path through the ladder.
It's a game the committee plays. Nothing would surprise me, including putting two AAC teams in a bracket to meet in the third round, thereby guaranteeing that one would be blocked, de facto, from moving on.

They’re not supposed to do that. But UC did lose to uconn in the 2nd round.

I don't think teams from the same conference that played twice are allowed to meet before the elite 8. If they only played once the earliest they can meet is the 2nd round.

Huh. Didn't realize that. Despite UC playing UConn in the 2nd round, I thought that game was a one-off. I figured they'd try to keep conference mates separate until at least the Sweet 16, but given conference expansion - and more bids per power conference - that'd be a bit tricky to pull of.

Aw. Triple. Football is important, but it sure as heck is not going to get you to a so called better conference. Sorry. Try being well rounded. Ooops.
Keep thinking that. You think being good in basketball and mediocre in football is better? Well rounded, lol?
Of course, by the time anything happens, if ever, I'll be dead.
But back to the real point. I was being nice and acknowledging Van Exel as the real deal, then your guy had to go to all time records, so fine, every time you guys mention BB dominance, we can mention FB dominance.
