Coherently, yet incorrectly. Reviewing posts you've made doesn't take you to the last post you read in a thread. But if you could read, you wouldn't get to call someone a twinkfag, would you, b.itch?

RE: 2018 baseball thread
Back on topic, here's D1's preview of C-USA and USM. They have us winning the league and project C-USA to be a 2-bid league (USM, Rice). Sandlin (#7), Reynolds (#10), Keating (#17), Boyd (#27), and Irby (#30) made their top 30 C-USA 2018 prospect list. Wallner is #1 for 2019. They also have Powell (#14) and Keys (#17) listed on their 2019 list but both of those guys are 2018 eligible. Weirich (#5) and Och (#6) made their impact freshmen list.

https://d1baseball.com/analysis/2018-con...ews-c-usa/

Southern Miss is fresh off a regional host in Hattiesburg, and wants to take yet another step forward in 2018 with the return of several key cogs. Though the Golden Eagles have some key cogs to replace for sure, this team is locked and loaded to make yet another big statement. USM welcomes back some strong pieces from both an offensive and pitching standpoint. For instance, on the mound, the pitching staff will miss Kirk McCarty, but has a solid trio in righthanders Colt Smith and JC Keys, along with rising lefty Stevie Powers. Smith manages the game well and improved his pitch ability during the offseason, while Keys is an athletic righty who sat 88-90 mph with his fastball in the fall, along with a 78 mph breaking ball and a 79-80 mph changeup. USM’s coaching staff expects him to be much improved from last season. Meanwhile, Powers is a strike-throwing lefty who made some significant strides with his cutter in the fall. In the bullpen, one of the best in the business resides there with All-American righty Nick Sandlin leading the way. Sandlin sits 88-90 and up to 91 with his nasty sinking fastball, while he also possesses and out pitch. USM is also excited about two-way star Matt Wallner, who’s healthy and will hit the mid-90s on the radar gun, while righty Walker Powell is coming off an injury and is expected to be a big-time contributor. Powell can get up to 90 with his fastball, but will more or less sit 86-89. Command is the big key for him. In terms of new, young arms, keep an eye on Jake Weirich and Ryan Och. Weirich reminds the coaching staff of former big leaguer and Arkansas standout Cliff Lee and will sit in the mid-80s with a good breaking ball, while Och sits 88-90 from the left side, along with a developing slider.

I also feel pretty good about where the Eagles sit from an offensive standpoint. There’s some real veteran leadership in the lineup, and USM welcomes former Mississippi State player Luke Reynolds. Reynolds had to sit out last season, but you can bet he’s ready for that season-opening series against the Bulldogs. Reynolds has good instincts and swings the bat well from the left side. Meanwhile, Mason Irby moves from right field to left field and is expected to have another strong season, while Daniel Keating should be back to full strength by the start of the season after having a hamate bone injury during fall workouts. There’s also Hunter Slater, who hit .312 last season and moves from left field to first base. Matt Guidry (.364) is a young and aggressive hitter who’s expected to have a solid campaign, while LeeMarcus Boyd is an average runner who has some surprising pop for his size. Of course, last but not least, there’s Wallner, who dazzled observers last season with his pro body, power production and more.

I get that. But they aren't even really talking about 6-6-17. Just bitching that we don't give them 4,000 tickets. Complete dullards.

The real dullards are our fans who will only come to the MSU games only this year plus the ones who are selling their tickets in the secondary market.

Quote from the thread:
"My buddy called the ticket office this morning and someone told him they just sold all the tickets to guys that put them on StubHub. They said that was the school's secondary market."

- My buddy called
- Someone told him
- They said

Sounds like a pretty reliable source.

And how exactly does a school benefit from a secondary market?

Another gem from EliteDawgs.

Growing up in Hattiesburg made me hate southern so much. They’re fans are so ignorant just like UCF. I have now brought friends to the football game in 2015 and the regionals this past year. Their fans have not been welcoming at all sometimes even including people I know. I’m glad all my friends now see why I dislike them so much.

It's "their" not "they're," dude. Jeez. #statemindset

Wtf do they expect our fan base to do after all they do is ***** and run their mouths about our program/school? “Hey, I know you guys talk **** about us but here, come have a beer”.

Nothing would make me happier than to take the series from them.

None of them have actually articulated what they want USM's ticket policy to be. Presumably, they want 100% of the ticket allotment.
