Crotch rockets.

I live by a switch-back and these farking crotch rockets squids love to rev and race around the corner. It doesn't happen a lot, but last night they were out in force.

Then I heard the police sirens. And then no more motorcycles..... Heh.

I'd add the other side as well. Fricking dooshnozzles on their Harleys.

Hey, look at me, I'm a too cool for school cause I have no baffles in my exhaust. I'm gonna turn my idle way down so my "hog" barely runs at a stop light so I have to keep revving it. I'm such a bad-ass that I'll roar thru town at 2:00AM, who cares if people are sleeping, I'm a biker.

One of the reasons I hate summer. Sitting in the shade in the evening trying to relax in the peace & quiet only to have some lout on his low rider that can be heard for miles go thundering by.

I'd love to hear police sirens but unfortunately, the cops seem to never ticket Harleys.

it's quite a dichotomy. he was in the air force, wherein he was liberalized. came home bought a harley and cruised the country. he also has guns and does wilderness survival in the maine winter. he's got a long beard and is thin as a rail

People who obsess over pets like children.

I literally just opened an email invitation from a friend of my wife to a funeral for a ******* Maltese.

IT'S. A. DAMN. DOG. It wasn't even a particularly notable dog. It pretty much only barked, whined, ate and ****.

I love my two dogs and will be sad when they go but they'll be buried in the backyard with at the most the family in attendance. I'm not paying for a dog coffin and a spot in a pet cemetery.

Don't forget the people who call themselves "fur-parents" or "fur-mammas" of the pets.

Omergosh.

I'd say "I gotta get out more", but I don't think I want to.

Please tell me these people don't exist. If they do, I don't wanna go out anymore...

While watching /listening to this guy on the World Cup match.

Yea, we get it. Riveting stuff. It’s 1-1 and you got your 90 seconds of making yourself hoarse.

Wish the futbol would be 12-10 and your dumb*** would just lose their voice...

I agree. I fricking HATE summer. Heat & humidity, bugs, having to bathe in sunscreen, having to run the A/C every day, sweating like a pig (even though pigs don't sweat), a-holes on roaring Harleys. Hate it.

Give me autumn. Moderate temps during the day, the crispness of the air at night, FOOTBALL, the start of Hockey season, leaves turning, the first snow, being able to wear my hoodies every day. Yeah, give me autumn.....

autumn is the clear winner by far. but in terms of contrast, winter everytime. i'll take another foot of snow for every mosquito bite gladly. two foot. i've been to wisconsin a couple times in the fall. once in door county and the other camping yonder cheq/nicolet forest and the obligatory layover in madeline island. love me that north woods. gonna be there in about a week

oh yeah, the air conditioner has been running non stop almost all morning just to keep the house at 78. it's an old house and we've spent a coupla thousand with duct work and insulation. it's possible it's not a large enough ac, i dunno. i know the furnace is too small for the house. so it kinda makes sense. the house was renovated less than ten years ago
