Don't think either MTSU or ODU really benefited from calls last night. I also think MTSU is more physical and certainly crash the offensive boards a heck of a lot harder. I remember some questionable calls against MTSU, but the charge call on Caver was pretty bad. That one made me upset. Thought Brandan could the raw end on an And1 by King, but I can see why the call was made (though Stith technically went straight up) Thought the game was pretty even outside of us missing shots and Johnson making shots.

On to UAB. Cokley is scary. He has my vote for POY.

UTSA's Jhivvan Jackson is known for exaggerating contact also.

....ohhhh you've gone and done it now. You've criticized CUSA's vaunted and worshiped basketball game officials.

1-16 from 3 don’t help and 50% from the line and we have been to the line a lot

Okay, should have looked at the score before hitting enter.

The worst part about the loss is it is to a program who has zero interest in basketball. I would rather lose in Norfolk, Birmingham or Murfreesboro to someone who cares. It was going to happen but 10% from deep sealed the deal.

Hurts Middle as well. Now you’ll have no Top 50 wins. You better win the tourney just like everybody else. Sucks for this conference but that’s the way it stands now.

I’ve been worried about this game since they went into Birmingham and bitchslapped the Blazers. Then took out Marshall. We were no match for their intensity today. We had one player that matched them and that was Tayveon Hollingsworth. They got every 50-50 ball in the game. Killed us on the boards. Played a zone and packed it in tight. We had nobody that could hit outside. That’s the recipe to beat us.

That's what I was thinking. The selection committee, at our level, looks for every reason possible to award an at-large to a less-deserving P5. I hope we didn't just give them one.
