Hopefully WSU's defense shows up tonight.

Temple is impossible to figure out pre-game. They are maddening that way. I think you go in assuming you are playing the team that lost to UC by 2pts (and should have won) and if the 'other' Temple team shows up and you crush them, dilly dilly.

Just please don't let the 'other' Temple show up along with the Wichita@Houston WSU show up. I can't handle that amount of bad basketball...

I'm pulling for WSU for sure. Temple is out of it and I couldn't care less about NIT bids.

Second, it’s annoying as hell to play these weird OOC games in the middle of conference play. Temple is coming off a big momentum changing win and we have to step back to play an Iowa team from the Ohio Valley? WTF? Thanks a lot Aresco.

With a statement like that I hope you read through all sixty two pages of material. You should be required to write a synopsis. There were some real gems in there.

Yeah but you'd need a jeweler's eye loupe to find them.

Payday is probably busy looking up every change in UC's computer ratings this morning, but boy oh boy can I not wait for him to show up on this thread!

I’m here.

So with road/neutral wins over Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina, and SMU...would a win over WSU get them back in the Tourney discussion? No team considered in Div 1 would have better wins. Problem is none would have worse losses either.

Eventually, the NCAA will give the death penalty to another program. Then again, they didn't give it to Penn State. On the other hand, that was in the football program - at Michigan State, some say it is the ENTIRE athletics program.

Eventually, people are going to tire of this BS and are going to want programs punished, not just ticketed and then back on top after a year or two.

Michigan State and Baylor both deserve the death penalty. The NCAA needs to own the mistake on PennState. Of course, none of this will happen.

Louisville too. Kick them out.

Put in UCF to replace them. Then bring in Temple and ECU.

Then bring in Memphis and Cincinnati to the Big 12.

Realignment is over. USF gets left in the dust.

The NCAA is going all out to find dirt on UCONN. Huskies will be next.

How much you wanna bet that the SEC is going to try to dig up dirt on UCF next ? Won't find any but you know they want to destroy teams like UCF any way they can b/c they don't want to try it on the field.

To get in they need 19 wins, doesn't really matter against who. 18 is nit, 19 bubble, 20 dancing. The wins losses are kind of all that matters for them. They have enough of the right wins to get them in, but not enough total wins.

No true. The Tourney is littered with invites with worse records. In 2001 Georgia got an invite with a 16-14 (9-7) record. They had a #27 RPI and a #1 SOS.

They've always been in the club. Hard to see a non-cartel school getting the same treatment given the current landscape.

That is an outlier team from 15+ years ago. A .500 record would have Temple's RPI around 50, no where near high enough. 19 wins will give them a 30s RPI probably a high 30s, depending on the bubble they would probably get in. Otherwise it's a mid forties RPI and too many bad losses compared to higher ranked bubble teams and Temple at 18 wins. 20 wins and they are easily in with a 30s RPI and good wins.
