Now we have a team that is been officially declared national champions by newspapers, unbiased computer polls, state governor, bobby bowden, Spurrier, and multiple sports commentators. You would think the additional push only gives us more appeal for a TV deal. Maybe Alabama/SEC fans get so triggered they watch UCF play more?

Aresco should be pushing it more "if" we are "P6". I don't think he wants to aid in UCF leaving the conference or at least be blamed for it.

There is no conference to join. The Big 12 is locked in for 8 more years. They already accepted $10 million not to expand. So they would have to pay that back plus not get $20 million for each team added. I don't see that happening at all.

Might as well get comfortable together for a long time.

"After finishing the season with a perfect 13-0 record and no losses to the New England Patriots or the Philadelphia Eagles, The University of Central Florida's football team has declared itself champions of the National Football League.

Atpress time, the University of Central Florida's football team was already preparing to claim championships in the newly resurrected XFL, the Little League World Series, and Dancing with the Stars."

Congrats UCF. Bwahahahaha.

And when it happens, who knows how crazy it will get. Hell, it could be the AAC that ends up absorbing what is left of the B12 if/when Texas and Oklahoma leave.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a powerful senator or group of senators bring a massive lawsuit against the NCAA over their unlawful monopoly. At least I hope someone does.

Congrats UCF for getting under the Tide's skin!

I did not want to open a new thread for this --- but isn't it about time for the 2018 football schedules to be released?!?!?. I know C-USA has released theirs a bit ago. I think the Sun Belt is on the only other one outstanding besides us. Some of us folks need to be arranging our vacations time now.

I don't think we are really trying to get under Tide's skin. It wasn't our fault unbiased computers listed us a #1. They are the ones that keep bringing us up. The NFL just invited us to give congratulations on the season. Alabama fans are the ones that got butt hurt about it.

This is what I want to know. Don't know how likely it is that UCF will be playing @Houston, @Tulane, or @SMU, but those are all easy drives for me. I try to make at least one game in person every year, I sadly couldn't get it done this year.

Booger McFarland is having a conniption fit the size of his belly....

Fat Slob first round bust fails to see the irony...

That fat slob has NO room to talk. He was an oft injured first round bust who stole two super bowl rings while sitting on the bench in civvies because he was too soft to play defensive tackle (all the while getting set up for success playing next to Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice. That alone proves he was an over rated bust)

I listen to a lot of local sports talk here in AL and the UCF NC talk is under their skin. Same with some of the BAMA fans I talk to. They do not like it at all. Kind of why I keep bringing it up.03-lmfao
