Putting politics aside, it really was a poorly timed cut if we are being honest. You don't give red bull to someone already on coke who you want to keep on an even keel.

President needed a victory.

Agreed, he does need a victory. But let's focus on the tax cuts. Why exactly were they necessary?

Because Republicans cut taxes - period.

Donald Trump would say he cut taxes because he wanted to see 4% growth (making America "great" again).

Everybody in Washington is either ******* corrupt and controlled by special interests or spineless except for Donald Trump, whom I believe cares more about trolling the media than doing anything truly meaningful.

You know what's ironic? Trump is the definition of spineless. Please don't conflate being a bully who's had everything handed to you to actually having a spine.

He's the first "politician" I can recollect who has pushed for every single thing he campaigned on. He's even still pushing for the wall for whatever reason. For all his crude behavior and "verbal inaccuracies", he may be the most honest politician since Ronald Reagan and that's saying something.

You actually called Trump honest. That's quite remarkable. He says what he thinks, so i'd certainly call him forthright, as was Reagan. You do know, however, that a difference between the two is that Trump is a pathological liar, whereas Reagan was not. Trump is, by definition, the opposite of honest. He isn't my Republican party.

You're not following along... I made it pretty clear that Trump has serious personality disorders. But he is also one of the only politicians that has gone on to win an election and then doggedly checked off each and every item he stumped on.

-Supreme court justice
-Embassy to Jerusalem
-Travel ban
-Restrictions on lobbying
-Withdraw from TPP
-Make a rule that for every federal regulation enacted, two must be removed
-Keystone pipeline
-Kept Guantanamo Bay prison open
-90 day federal hiring freeze after election
-Weaken the EPA
-Pull out of Paris climate accord
-Lower the business tax rate from 35%
-Eliminate the Obamacare healthcare mandate

He did (and is doing) every single thing he promised on the campaign trail. That is unheard of in American politics. In that sense, he is indeed one of the most "honest" politicians of all time.

I'm not even in favor of all that he has done but am still impressed nonetheless.

RE: Stock Market
You'd be surprised.

There are two sides to Donald Trump: the grotesque public side and the focused private side where he actually gets things done.

You would think with Donald's public persona that he'd cave to anything and everyone for little more than a cheap compliment, but he continues to represent the people that voted for him by fulfilling his campaign promises one after the other.

He's not kept significantly more promises than other presidents.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/...umpometer/

Obama kept roughly 48% and compromised on another 27%. He broke 24% of his campaign promises.

More importantly, he lied regularly (or in his own 4th grade vernacular - "BIGLY") throughout his campaign and his term to convince his ignorant base that his policies were actually worth implementing.

That article is misrepresenting the truth, otherwise known as Fake News.

He did enact a federal hiring freeze.

The other campaign promises he made are not considered "truth" in the article you provided unless he succeeds at implementing them. Getting some of his promises accomplished requires the actions of other people too. My point is that he is actively attempting to fulfill everything he said he was going to do instead of hoping people forget what he said.

This is exactly what a politician is supposed to do. Tell the people what you will do if elected and then go do it upon becoming elected. 99% of all politicians will promise the sky just to win the election and misremember once in office.

Trump could have been one of the greatest presidents Republicans ever had if he wasn't such a tard.

His promise wasn't to enact a temporary federal hiring freeze. It was to enact one that would last the length of his term. That would go in the "compromise" basket if you ask me. Look at Obama's meter. It's pretty much the same. There's a limit to what the president can do by himself. And thus far Trump has had both sides of congress. Wait until next January when things will get a lot tougher for him.

Trump isn't doing anything that Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, or Paul Ryan haven't told him to do.
