247Sports' composite rankings averages the rankings from all 3 recruiting sites (247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals), so it has sort of become the standard.

There's just too much inaccurate information on Rivals' site. 247Sports is always the most up-to-date as well. But they include Rivals' ratings in their composite. It's just the management of the site where they fail.

Rivals is terrible. They still list several guys for Florida Atlantic who decommitted months ago (e.g. Billy Joseph, Dabarre Jenkins, Jason Mercier, etc.)

Please use 247Sports' composite rankings. https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Footba...ence=C-USA

That's because y'all don't have someone updating it. Most classes on there have to be edited by the person running the site, if I recall correctly.

Rivals dose zero updating regarded the lower tier kids.

247 has around 3 times as many employees.

I don't even look at IE they do not update anything for G5 they do not even try. It's sad and it's why they are failing.

Rivals sites will get trued up very soon. Then who knows how the ranking will be.

Yes, you're correct. And that's where it becomes an issue with comparing recruiting classes to other conference members by only using this site.

Best news of day so far for ODU, 3* RB Elijah Davis out of Lynchburg, VA, signed. He is the record holder in VHSL for single season rushing yards (3,603), single season rushing TDs (61 overall) and single season points scored (372). All set in 2017.

RE: National Signing Day 2018
By the way, last year's class on 247:

- highest recruiting average for a team was 82.14 by FAU.
- six teams with recruiting average 80.00+

So far for 2018,
- highest recruiting average for a team is 83.54 by FAU.
- nine teams with recruiting average 80.00+

Let's hope all of that translates to further improvement of CUSA football.

Lane Kiffin was just on espn's signing day special. Pretty good publicity for a G5 to be interviewed on the show. Doesn't happen much

I used to be real big on rivals recruiting. However I also noticed many discrepancies over the years which really had me adjust my loyalties.

I know it is highschools, but how does one accumulate such numbers in one season???

Rice’s signing class was more geographically diverse than any Bailiff class. We signed guys from TX, LA, FL, SC, NY, MN, and MO.

They include playoff games. He had a total of 15 games. He averaged 12.5 ypc and 240.2 ypg.

Smart athletes are all across the country and Rice is known everywhere, makes sense to widen the net.
