Former Hurricane Jordan Clarkson is averaging over 14 pts, with 3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game with the Lakers. He had 18 pts in a win over the Thunder the other day.

Our "little legend" Fred VanVleet has been tearing it up in the Association.
Any other AAC teams have players doing work in the big show?

Again. Let’s lay out the insignificance of Shocker Nation to the world of hoops.
Cincy’s top two NBA players scored more points in their career than all WSU NBA players combined.

Oh...and to answer your question...both Shaun Kilpatrick and Lance Stephenson have a currently higher career scoring average than VanVleet

An innocent thread inquiring about AAC players in the NBA has somehow turned into a UC vs. WSU dick measuring contest.
Stunned.

CB did the crowing and asked the question. I simply abliged. Other AAC fans could do likewise. I’m sure...

Lance is a mood. He was a ballhog and not that good here but I love him in the NBA.

What percentage of NBA players are AAC school products?
We could put together a pretty solid team is my guess.

Will Barton and Tyreke Evans are having career years.
Derrick Rose's knees are made of gummy worms.
Tarik Black is with Houston and going to opposing teams locker rooms.

Semi Ojeleye and Sterling Brown are key contributors for the the Celtics and Bucks respectively. Ben Moore got his first minutes of the season for the Pacers earlier this week.

I wouldn't necessarily call Semi a key contributor considering he has the 4th lowest PER among qualifying candidates. His shooting hasn't really translated yet, which is pretty surprising to me...I thought he would turn into a prototypical 3'n'D guy.

RE: AAC in the NBA
Shocker golden boy Ron Baker is out with a shoulder.
https://nypost.com/2018/02/01/exploring-...er-injury/
Quote:It has been an injury-riddled sophomore season for the undrafted Baker after he impressed coach Jeff Hornacek and Knicks brass with his defensive tenacity last season as a rookie and earned a whopping raise.
The Knicks gave Baker the room exception — a two-year, $8.9 million pact. He’s making $4.3 million this season after earning the rookie minimum of $543,000 in his first year.
The size of the contract raised eyebrows among agents and league executives, but the Knicks are only obsessed with having cap space for 2019, when the deal expires.
In fact, a person familiar with the Baker decision told The Post recently the Knicks were willing to make the steep investment because they liked everything he represented and viewed him as a potential defensive anchor along with Lance Thomas.
Because of a sprained ankle, a shoulder sprain and a broken cheekbone, the masked Baker has played in just 29 games this season but had finally found his niche. Enes Kanter said after the loss to the Lakers last month his teammates must use Baker as an example of how hard they need to play.
“Of course we’re going to miss him a lot,” Kanter said Wednesday. “He’s an important piece of our team. Other guys need to step up, and I believe they’re going to do a really good job.”
Ron was the ambassador of Play Angry.

I don’t Mind if you cut the word “key” out of that sentence. Fact is that Semi and Sterling made rosters and are contributing to their teams in their rookie seasons. I don’t think too many Mustang fans expected Ben Moore to make the show but he was tearing it up for the Mad Ants and recently got the call. Good stuff.

By key contributors I meant rotation players. Semi routinely guards the opponent’s best player including Lebron on his NBA debut. I agree that his offense has been surprisingly lackluster. Sterling has definitely had a greater offensive impact for the Bucks.
