Sorry but we need Temple to go on a run.

Any good rumors going around about the coaching search? 04-cheers

Finally, some games the conference can get interested in. I will be in North Philly for this one. Anyone else going?

ECU fans, how do you feel about John Thompson III? He knows the area for recruiting, is use to working in rograms with restrictions and it would be much easier for him to find players then at Princeton or Georgetown.

JT III is as bad a coach as he is a basketball analyst, which is bottom decile. Would be a desperate and inconsequential hire, but then again, ECU is already desperate to gain any glimmer of relevance in hoops and is the definition of inconsequential in college basketball.

You're likely to be there with 600 of your closest friends. ESPN ratings for this one might be a record for fewest eyeballs ever watching a live sporting event.

Yes I am sure he just stumbled on to that .642 winning percentage and 6 conference championships. 10 out of 17 years in the ncaa and 4 nit teams. That would be sooooo sucky for ECU.

RE: 2/7 AAC Basketball Games
It's funny, I think JT3's coaching style would mesh far more in the AAC than it did the Big East. I think the AAC of today far more resembles the OBE than what the Big East is today. I think it would be quite frankly a good hire.

Why does it feel like USF and ECU play 4 conference games a week?

I chuckled when I read this comment.

"USF/ECU" was definitely in action last night. You don't even see 13 pt. halves in girl's basketball...

I don't care if temple fan don't show up to support their NCAA tourney hopeful team, that's on them. I there to watch a pretty shotty ECU program, and the less people means better seats for me

Moton looks very interesting, hadn't heard his name brought up before. NC Central from DII to 3 regular season conference titles under him rather quickly.

Any one of JT3, Crean, or Moton would be a great hire for that program.

Thanks. I used to live in Philly, moved right outside to this town called Conshohocken. Pretty much in the city every weekend
