His research points to dust and soot causing early melt. Believes global warming is getting too much credit/blame.

It's worth noting that his comments are focused on snow melt and the fact that dust and soot in the snow makes it melt faster than it would otherwise, which makes sense. It does not mean this is an argument against global warming ... if anything, it makes the consequences of man-made global warming worse...
