McCarthy-Grassley/Graham memo is even more damning to FBI
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/45...le-dossier

Remember Lindsay Graham, the Democrats favorite Republican? With Grassley, their memo raises even stickier questions about the FBI.

McCarthy thinks there should even be some review of the FISA judge. Personally, I think some FBI agents should be indicted for lying to the judge.

"This, of course, is the announcement that Clinton partisans blame for their candidate’s loss. So, according to the Bureau, Steele’s pro-Clinton partisanship induced him to such outrage over Comey’s announcement that he was moved to violate his agreement with the FBI. Wouldn’t you think it might then occur to the Bureau and the Justice Department that maybe, just maybe, they ought to let the court in on that teeny detail about the Clinton campaign’s being the sponsor of Steele’s dossier? Nope. Instead they kept mum and they kept telling the court Steele was perfectly reliable. In fact, they kept telling the FISA court he was reliable even after Steele himself admitted to a British court that his dossier wasn’t at all reliable. What’s that? Am I kidding? No."

So here is the kill shot. The Democrats have been caught lying again. The “footnote” the Dems have pointed to as vindication that the FBI was transparent about the dossier coming from the DNC is below—

The FBI noted to a vaguely limited extent the political origins of the dossier. In footnote 8 [of the first warrant application, apparently repeated in the subsequent applications] the FBI stated that the dossier information was compiled pursuant to the direction of a law firm who had hired an “identified U.S. person” — now known as Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS.

Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/45...le-dossier

Basically, the FBI never told the FISA court the DNC funded Fusion GPS as oppo research and only alluded to an anonymous third party (which was buried in footnote #8). Worse yet, this information is now publicly available and is being ignored by the CNN’s and MSNBC’s of the world. Absolutely shameless. Those networks deserve every bit of criticism and derision they receive from Mr Trump—for they truly are fake news.

The fact that the MSM has almost totally ignored the story of the less-redacted Grassley-Graham memo indicates how powerful its contents really are.

That’s true, so far as it goes. But to me, it just underscores how foolish it was for the GOP to build-up the Gowdy/Nunes deal so much in advance for such a small pay-off. Now they’re in the position of having to say “Never mind that — here’s the REAL memo!” And so even fair-minded, non-partisan types are skeptical.

The two memos bounce off each other. Together they paint a picture clearer than each on its own. More pieces to a sickening puzzle. People really should go to jail, and I’m not talking about Trump.

Eh, maybe.

I still say they would’ve had much greater impact if the contents had been merged into one document and was signed by Ryan, McConnell, and every GOP member of the Senate Judiciary and House Intelligence committees. Such a group would include some of the most anti-Trump GOPers like Flake and Ros-Lehtinen.

Except that the pub memo still accompolished something very important. Remeber, Schiffty, the FBI and the DOJ all screamed bloody murder that to release it as-is was a grave danger to national security. Once it was released, everyone saw that their claim was BS. So why all the BS? Why all the posturing?

We found out why once the less-redacted Grassley-Graham memo was released.

The donks have been on defense since it was finally revealed who paid for the Steele dossier. Bringing out more bad news once or twice a week is a great strategy to keep them on defense.

Republican leaders have always been hamstrung by the need to appear to be more ethical and fair than Jesus. Trump is a businessman. In his world, you only care about winning. Anything is fair as long as you dont break the law. Democrats have never had to deal with that attitude. Worse yet, in Washington there are unwritten rules that protect ALL politicians on both sides. Trump doesnt care about those rules either. He isnt a politician. He's a rich businessman and can walk away from this any time he wants. He doesnt need it. Thats why there are so many "Never Trumpers".

Nunes is somewhat partisan, so they discredit him when he tells the truth. Grassley and Graham are not. So it actually works well. Get the facts out and then when the Democrats attack the messenger, people who aren't partisan show that the Dems are just lying shysters.
