Good point. But in the heat of the moment my only thought would be bashing his face in. Protective instincts of a father would be a lot stronger than protecting myself.

Dude I have a two year old. He's still learning and doesn't like to be told no.

I'm almost 70 and I still don't like to be told "no". My kids NEVER threw a tantrum in a store. They knew better. I didn't have to spank them or scold them there, I'd just promise them a spanking (in a soft voice) which they got if they insisted on misbehaving. They knew I kept my word.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've wanted to do what this man did. Bratty kids at restaurants, movies. And parents unable or unwilling to discipline them. I can tell you when I was growing up, behavior, in public like that, was simply not tolerated.
