It’s a right of spring that X will have so many over-seeded teams in its bracket that they will play a a 16 seed, a 9 seed, a 12 seed and 10 seed on their march to the Final 4.

Cincy should be a 2 seed but we know how these douche committee members butcher things.

You're probably right about Dook and KU. I'm also fully expecting Rhode Island to get screwed, although they have a good claim as a 3 seed.

Seton Hall and Providence are their best wins. They don't deserve a 3 seed.

Okay, 4 seed then. They got screwed out of that. The committee should either use the RPI, or use an advanced metric. They cherry pick, and they favor historic powers.

They still have an RPI of 6. Don't you have to be beating decent teams and not losing to bad one to have an RPI that hight at this time of year?

If Duke or Kansas had a #6 RPI win on their resumes, they'd be using that win to justify themselves.

UC now up to #6 in RPI to go along with top 5 in Pomeroy, Sagarin, and ESPN BPI. Should be ranked in top 5 tomorrow in both AP and Coaches Polls.

3 losses should be a 1 seed in the AAC, especially in a year like this. I hope that at the next AAC meeting we make some adjustments to make sure that Cincy is at least in the discussion for a 1 seed next time this scenario exists.

If they keep winning they'll be in the discussion. Had they beat either X or Florida they'd be one now likely.

Committee released Top 16 seeds.

https://www.si.com/college-basketball/20...ms-bracket

Cincy a 2 seed, #8 overall.

Duke and UNC rated ahead of Clemson, despite Clemson ahead of both in ACC standings.

Oklahoma a 4 seed? Lost 7 of last 11.

WSU still has a shot at a top 16 seed. OU and Arizona should not be in the top 16. WSU is competing with Gonzaga and St Mary's among others for that spot.
