There is no standing Army, and most of the public resources get poured into a rather spectacular medical economy. Pretty firstworld stuff in an otherwise decidedly third world shitehole of an area.

I agree 100% as there are still plenty of places I want to visit in the US. However, that in no way limits my desire to visit other countries, etc. The two are not mutually exclusive.
