RE: Football schedule released
Cue folks mad about opening on the road for conference play.

Home finale on Friday after thanksgiving.

Only two home games the last six weeks of the season.

RE: Football schedule released
There are two alternatives to having an early off week for SHC week.

You either have an OOC away game or you hope the league gets you an early league game. It beats having an off week second week of the year.

Can get on a roll going into UCF game. That will be a tough 2 week stretch (UCF, @ Mizzou) but can get some momentum going after the bye week (ECU, Tulsa, SMU) going into the Houston game and hopefully another CCG.

11-1 if the QB is what they say he is.

And hopefully Houston is undefeated when they roll into town.

They'd be top 25 if that's the case, having beaten Arizona and TTU in weeks 2-3.

What I'm saying. Same for UCF.

I see a road trip to the Big Easy and a nice trip to Annapolis to visit my daughter. And a bunch of cupcakes on our schedule. And not too many cold games.

I see a championship parade down Beale. We'll go undefeated, win a bowl game like UCF did and no one will give us any credit. Wish we could get a better OOC schedule. But I can't wait for the parade!

Yep, with that OOC schedule the Tigers will have to be undefeated very late in the season to get any kind of buzz from the media.

Going to be difficult to play our regular defense the first week, then have to change up to face an option team and then come back and try to correct errors in regular defense for third game.

Usually you use the time between first and second game to go over miscues and try to clean them up. But going to Navy will cause us to work all week on option and not be able to correct miscues of regular formation.

I'd almost rather start with Navy then play Mercer.

At Navy, UCF, at SMU, and Houston are the games I'm circling now as make or break games. I have no idea how this offense will look without Ferguson and Miller. No Pollard KO returns this season. I still think the Tigers will easily handle that OOC schedule if just with a heavy dose of Henderson and Taylor. OL must improve this season.

Go Tigers!!!

Undefeated. AAC championship at a packed out Deep Blue Sea Liberty Bowl. GameDay at the UCF game. We won't get ANY love from the polls at all no matter what. So what?!!! WE'RE MEMPHIS, we're still going to party it up big at the championship parade on Beale.

I think that what Tiger fans will discover this coming season is that, while Ferguson is a great talent, Norvell's offense will flourish under any competent QB.
