Tough losses that would have been signature wins, but lots to like so far with this team.

Well we know our weekend starters can pitch. That's good news. Losing three by a total of three runs can't be anything to hang your head about. We should have won the first one though.

Moral victories it is

Against the 12th ranked team in the country. At least, we get a measure of what we can do against top competition.

One way of looking at this series is that a wild pitch cost a W in Game One, and a wild pitch cost the chance to go extra innings in Game Two. That's a mighty small difference between the squads.

You are what your record says you are, but very little separated W&M from #12 all weekend.

Hopefully, the team is a little ticked, and takes it out on some opponents from here on in.

Just hope the 1 run losses don't get into the players heads and become a recurring theme. Good news is nothing matters until CAA play, but don't want losing to become a norm and influence the mindset of the players
