"The Department is in communication with Jordon, and it’s our understanding his decision to resign is purely based on his personal opposition to the federal administration’s rhetoric on immigration,” Jake Troyer, communications director for Montana's labor department, told The Washington Post. “Jordon’s involvement in the process of responding to subpoenas was limited to assisting attorneys with processing requests.”

I have respect for anyone willing to stand on their principles with that voracity even though I disagree with their stance.

Quit your phucking job instead of staying and fighting for the cause you say you believe in and then asking others to support your family? How about going to jail for the cause Dyrdahl-Roberts? I guess if he really believes in his cause that strongly.......go for it. After he's made his principled stand, he should complete it by going out and getting another job instead of begging for money to pay for his stuff....

Only guy I ever knew with a hyphenated last name was English and he could win a bar fight and not spill his beer. Don’t think this dude is English.

We constantly ***** about spineless politicians. Then a citizen stands up for his principles and some of you dump all over him. I would suggest your attitudes are the real problem.

Nobody is downing him for sticking to his principles. It's the fact he set up a fund for people to give him money cause now he doesn't have income coming in.

It's awesome to have guts, but have a back up plan.
