Because that's the climate K has adapted to. You do not need solid grades to go to Duke. And UK's compliance and Cal never went toward Duval because we couldn't get him in, or didn't think we could. Look at the Quade Green recruitment for proof. K didn't even look toward Duval either until he missed all of his targets.

Duke really doesn't have any standards today. It's changed.

I am still a Cal fan but this is typical UK BS. excuses for the very mediocre season-has it occurred to anyone this might be Cal's plan. To try and get a 4 yr class that stays together;would not surprise me a bit.

Cal made an adjustment, sure. He recruited Herro and Baker, two sharp shooters who are probably 2-4 year players. But he didn't plan on missing all of his top targets.

College basketball is going through a massive change. Kentucky has backed out of recruitments of players that were prototypical calipari guys for no reason at all at the time, the names are in the open now due to the FBI scandal. Ayton begged for a scholarship and wasn't given one. We couldn't figure it out.

If anyone thinks Duval and Bagley have the transcripts to get into Duke, okay.
