Question AAC opening weekend on the diamond / who you play?
ECU hosts Western Carolina for a 3 game series this weekend.

Aside from a lot of new faces on the field I will be observing how last seasons turn of events fuel this years team. Based on media day comments by players and coaches, the whole deal of last season seems to have tightened focus on the small things that when done well lead to the big results everyone wants.

UC will have to wait until tomorrow. They were unable to fly to Chicago (ultimately to San Diego) due to bad weather there.

As per the UC website - The team is now scheduled to depart on Saturday morning. Game times are currently slated for 6 p.m. PST on Saturday and a double header starting at 1 p.m. PST on Sunday.

This will make a tough opening weekend that much tougher. UC is now set to play California on Friday night (at San Diego) and then a DH against San Diego on Sunday.

That is going to be tough, time change, travel, play on the same day. Go Cats.

Is there a good site for up to date scores? I use both ESPN and Score, but neither keep up very well with baseball scores. With some of them, they don't post anything but the final.

Since D1 baseball went to subscription, this appears to be a great replacement fix for scores.

Haha. Just posted this in a different thread. I'm watching with my TV online and listening on my tablet with TuneIn app. I hit pause until I synced up the sound. The broadcast looks great.
