08 Memphis was just a great team. Perfect combination of talent, skill, and experience.

That team wouldn't move off of number one this season.

I hope we keep UAB on the hoops schedule. Moreover, I'd rather play UAB home-home in football over UL-Monroe (who we signed)

Somebody did an article on that picture, breaking down each part of it. It was really funny.

There is a lot going on in that pic:

1. Orange jumpsuit guy getting slapped by Niles.
2. The security guard acing like she didn't see anything.
3. The girl with the blacked out eye and "I dated Dozier" t-shirt.
4. All the double birds.
5. Willie Kemp looking scared to death.

Great memories. 04-cheers

Yep. I was there with my wife. I wanted to stay around and relish the victory. She looked me in the eye and said hell no.

Thanks for the reminder, Memphis Blazer! Good times....

I remember something happened or said to Joey after the game...while he was yelling at pointing to the crowd, it took 4 guys to push him away from the crowd and into the locker room.

Now that Cubbie Bear is no longer in the picture and UAB has gotten their program back. We should drop S Alabama and replace them with UAB. We have far more history with the UAB program and playing in Birmingham every other years gives us just as much exposure in the sate as playing Mobile.

Far more potential with the two schools just a few driving hours apart on I-22.
