Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
Well it got me to thinking, these snowflake students probably are not going to games and are bringing down attendance averages at football games or any collegiate sport games
1) is this snowflakes movement here to stay, or is it going to melt away ?
2)if a snowflakes went to an on campus game would the school make all attendees abide to a list of words not to use so as to protect the one snowflakes and mybe not be allowed to cheer or clap, because you know that might offend the other teams fans
3) could this be the reason for declining attendance at football games over the past few years ?

You nailed it, man, you really did.

Send an email with these deep thoughts to all NCAA schools.

You are really on to something. Great analytical work.

Your analysis may just save college football as we know it. Well done.

RE: Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
Don't blame the snowflakes... blame the fact these are low IQ students that cannot succeed in engineering or hard science, but society has told them they need to go to college anyway despite serving no practical value in a higher education system.

Snowflakes in the southeast are probably casual football fans at the very least and would go to a game. Snowflakes in the north and west are way too obsessed with their technology and social media to care about schools that aren't great at football as it is. It is what it is.

Snowflakes don’t like to support sports where everybody doesn’t get a trophy.

Snowflakes sporting events are protesting (and getting paid to do it) or they are not venturing away from their 'safe space' as there are none in sporting venues.

RE: Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
I think the society has become full of self-victimized snowflakes on all sides of the political spectrum. Everyone is a victim these days and the discourse has become downright idiotic.

Everyone is outraged and perpetually threatening boycotts at every turn for all manners of sins. Everyone on all sides of the political spectrum is guilty of some form of political correctness and everyone on all sides of the political spectrum have become morons, completely incapable of independent thought.

“I will tell you EXACTLY how I feel about that pressing issue tomorrow, after I watch Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity and they tell me what to think.”

Further, I don’t think either side has a monopoly on decency or common sense and I think both do whatever they can to stifle dissent from the other side, all the while indignantly accusing the other side of doing the exact same thing.

Yep...the every kid needs to go to college and get a worthless degree is an extension of the attitude that every kid needs to get a trophy.

The colleges are very self serving.....they offer any kind of easy to get worthless degree to get the kids in school and keep them. That is job security and more money for the school. And at state schools the taxpayers are paying for it...big time.

RE: Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
SJWs don't actually attend sporting events--they just want to complain when they don't like what occurs at them.

With that said, younger audiences struggle with committing to watching 3 hr sporting events and there are far more entertainment options out there vying for their attention.

RE: Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
The decrease in attendance has everything to do with flooded market and cost.

If you want to see a game there's probably better than a 90% chance you can watch it from any where you're at at that moment. Without being there. The advancement in TV's are so good it's almost like being there as far as a clear view goes. You have cheap 50,65,70 inch TVs with connection to every streaming service that shows sports. But that doesn't even play a part to those in college today.

Those growing up today are not as concerned with big screen...a phone or laptop is OK.

The flooded market makes sports...not as special, like it was 10 years ago. Think about the amount of football or basketball we could view 10 years ago compared to today. My guess, less than 10% of games could be viewed on any given weekend. So as a fan you went to the game or listed to it, if it wasn't shown on local TV, or espn.

Cost has also played into it....spend a $100, ticket, parking, food, drink or use that money somewhere else and still watch the game you want to. Plus any other game you are interested in. And you can do that at any place that you can get Internet. Sports are just not special enough any more....

spending money and time is easier when something is not so common

There is an easy solution to this dropping attendance numbers due to the snowflake mentality.

At each game, give every snowflake a blanket (need to return after the game), have many therapy dogs at the game for the snowflakes to bond with if things go awry during the game, and most important have a trophy presented to each and every dressed player. No need to give them to just the winning team, as no one will keep score.

Slingbox was around more than 10 years ago so you could view pretty much anything anywhere.

RE: Do snowflakes go to sporting events ?
I think snowflake status has zero bearing on attendance of college sporting events. Attendance is dropping primarily due to costs. Paying a fee just to have the right to purchase season tickets along with costs increases across the board are killing attendance. That plus the explosion of ultra high def large screen TVs that generally provide better viewing than being at the game (for football) is what's killing attendance.
