Trump has not? Now I know you are delusional. Trump has been mentally unstable since taking office from day one. If you deny that then you have your political party blinders on.

So, you've performed a clinical evaluation? When and where? And what are your credentials?

And while you're at it, Trump has been a very public figure for at least three decades. Why was his mental instability not noted way back when? Or did he suddenly become mentally unstable when he became president? Or maybe just the he became a republican?

Lots and lots of unstable folks out there. But only one of them is Prez. Once he was elected his mental health deservedly came into question.
Trump may not have a mood disorder (major depression, anxiety) and probably not a thought disorder ( schizophrenia, psychosis). What he almost assuredly has is a personality disorder. If you are a trained professional, you can clearly see obvious signs of narcissistic personality d/o. This can be diagnosed based simply on what is public knowledge of the man.
His personality d/o has been with him I'm sure since childhood. In our country we actually admire many people with these traits. Many are very successful in their careers, make lots of money. Their personal lives are quite often in shambles and they have many enemies.
Inability to accept criticism, compulsive lying, disregard for others and extreme entitlement are all pretty clear symptoms.
