Tubbs doesn't want to coach these types of players, but it will be proven that these types of players are winners. Tubbs won a championship with these type of players when Pitino left, and hasn't come anywhere close to the same type of success through his OWN merit...

The circumstances are Even larger than WE realize,maybe even that Tubbs realizes....The Lawson's successes over the next couple of years or more are going to resonate exponentially bad to Memphis.....However, these successes began in Memphis and these are successes that Memphis should be enjoying!!!!

I do not get the continuous reference to the Lawsons here. You'd think they led us to the final 4 when they were here or something.

Thinking about tubby getting one more year literally makes nauseous. IF our administration keeps him after the season is over I sadly may have to checkout because I can no longer take this small time acceptance of mediocrity by an AD that apparently knows or cares little about Tiger hoops and what it means to this city. I couldn't imagine Louisville accepting this at any cost once the writing is on the wall. Heck even Houston fired their fball coach a few years ago for going 8-4 and that turned out to be the best thing they ever did by not accepting mediocrity or worse in the name of "consistency". COME to think about isn't the attitude their taking with tubby and basketball team the same attitude that pushed the football program to the edge of oblivion

Not at the same level as we do this year. Except for the last few games when the team had quit, we were at least competitive last year. This year we have gotten worse in just about every category.

When you have 10 good players and 3 leave and you keep recruiting at a high level, you can recover. Even Pastner was able to maintain a not disastrous level of performance for 5 years.

When you have 4 good players and 3 of them leave...and you can't recruit, there is nothing bizarre about being disappointed about it. Tubby just had to continue going about his business being lazy and doing nothing, these players were given to him.
