Are we?

Yes Mark, it's been mentioned, along with the fact that other teams in the AAC have better out of conference wins which is just dandy for UC.

I mean it's been brought up as something that could happen, but I'm not seeing posts with fans saying UC needs it to happen or are hoping for it to happen (though honestly I always hope for a couple breaks in the tournament...the fewer 50/50, 60/40 games the better). I thought UK was one of the 4 or 5 best teams last year, but never even considered taking them to the final four because their path likely involved Wichita State, UCLA/UC and UNC. Even if they were the best team I thought that was the kind of path they were more likely to drop one than run through it.

I'll say this, it's tougher at the top when everyone is gunning for you. Now, WSU and UH have moved up in the rankings and have to finish strong with other teams hunting a signature win for their program.

Bump.

Shat don't lie. Houston goes down.

Bump. Funny how these predictions work out. Cats won their last 4 and WSU and UH both finished 3-1.

You cannot stop the Bulls. You can only hope to contain them.

1) Win out and they win an outright conference championship--- winning at Wichita is going to be a bear.

2) Winning the conference tournament. Mick's teams haven't done that once since he's been here.

3) Going deep in the tournament. Need to get out of that first weekend, especially if they do neither of the first two.

1 down, 2 to go...REALLY want to enjoy the NCAA tournament in the second week 04-cheers

Agreed; many of us felt these were three key measures this year and the team and coaches deserve lots of credit for going two for two so far.

The bracket seems to have set up beautifully for a run to the second weekend. We'll know for sure in the next two weeks but I think UC's #2 seed pathway is much better than X's #1 seed bracket. Here's hoping the boys from Norwood get a chance to be home watching UC advance this season.

Wouldn't you like to play them in the quarterfinal and out some WHOOP_A$$ on `em?

That's got to be worth at least 5 yrs of CTSO wins.
