16 recommendation letters written to the editor, for the dems. Some interesting (real) takes, without being cloaked in the whole faux-optimism, muh blue wave nonsense. Some bad ones, too. One recommends that each and every candidate sit down with their constituents and show them on paper how the tax plan raises their taxes. Lol. God help them.
Having read this, I don't think they are actually confident at all.
"Stop talking about Trump."
"Stop with identity politics."
"Russia is impossible to follow, and there's probably nothing there."
"I'm a progressive, but can't vote for the dems, even against Trump."
"pelosi, schumer, and perez need to go."
"Dems need to get practical on border security and illegal immigration."
"If we don't welcome pro-life candidates, we're a non-starter with millions of voters."
"sanders/warren welfare-state economics don't appeal to middle America."
Will they have the discipline to listen to any of this? My prediction: Hell no, they're too stubborn, and even if they tried, they would essentially have to tear it all down and start over. Plus, Trump is too good..
Worth the read. Open in incognito if you're at your quota.
