It's not too bad. We did make the biggest move up out of all teams. Considering it was a home series for us, I think it's a pretty good move up. For the most part, teams did what they were expected to do, so it's hard to move more than we did. And remember, it's still a very early poll.

Also, it’s really hard to gauge how good we actually are at this point. Our pitching could be that good, or State’s hitting could be that bad. More than likely it’s a mixture of the two. I’m anxious to see Walker Powell. We need another shutdown starter to make serious noise in the postseason.

I hear ya, but bc of the fact that it IS so early in the polls and we swept a ranked team, theres no excuse for us not to jump more teams, imo. Pisses me off. Will work out in the end, but still. We shouldn't have to wait for others to lose, this early in the season. Its not like our remaining schedule of opponents will look better than Msu as an opponent. If we beat SA, they say its just one game. If we sweep this weekend, they say those teams suck. This was the week to make the biggest move. Oh well, just a rant.
