Florida Parkland shooting activists
Ben Shapiro had a good segment on them today.

I feel for them, but just like how kimmel gets up there and cries about his experiences with the health care system doesn't make him an expert on health care, just because they experienced a traumatic event doesn't make them an experts on guns, nor does it mean we should value their opinion more than actual experts.

Quite the contrary, actually. If you've listened to them, they don't have a clue of what they're talking about. Not surprising, they're kids. A lot of regurgitating of mom's demand/everytown talking points, which I find kind of gross.

True they are not experts on what they are talking about but we've never had the victims of a mass shooting taking it up like this before. Should be interesting to watch.

RE: Florida Parkland shooting activists
I listened to part of an interview with them this morning, and it was disastrous. First guys says "this is not about blue or red, Republican or Democrat" and and soon as he was done, a chick says "If you take money from the NRA you will lose your re-election."

Let them ramble, let them have their inneffecient march, and then they will all go back to snapchating about the weirdos at school and what losers they are, probably pushing another kid into a downward spiral of declining mental health.

High schoolers are aceholers, especially ones that the media and the gun-grabbers want to put in front of cameras.

Good grief.

This is getting beyond pathetic.

I’d think this would make even Ted turner or Hanoi Jane blush.

VFNN. Just awful

I'll not attack these kids, so long as they are kids.... But their parents are A-Holes....

This is *NOT* how they should be dealing with the trauma, if anything it's setting them up for worse problems when their simplistic view of the scenario "Guns=bad" "NRA=terrorist" gets shredded to pieces by reality.

Gonna disagree on this one - you trot yourself out on national media and make wild claims about disenfranchising other Americans, well then you need to expect the backlash.

I will not to cave to the direction of people that do not know anything about firearms or about the laws on the books that deal with firearms.

They seem to know more about the Constitution than Trump. The next generation is going to be awesome. See what you have inspired. 05-stirthepot

Absolutely, these kids are heroes and soon they will have the power to vote and that will be the end of the Republican Party.

I blame their parents for that... Where is mom and dad creating a good environment for pain and healing? Pretty sure the media needs some approval from parents to do some of what they are doing.

Quote:I will not to cave to the direction of people that do not know anything about firearms or about the laws on the books that deal with firearms.

I will attack their arguments, and their parents... But I don't tend to deal in rancor with people who are dealing with a painful tragedy.

If you say so. They'll help elect more conservative candidates to fix it, then.

Perhaps fiscally, but no way as far as social issues go, IMHO.
