Too far away

But it kills the MWC & is the only addition of non-P5 schools that strengthens the AAC....bye-bye G4 if it were to happen.

So you beat a ranked power 5 team and that makes you national champs?? Lol

No, finishing undefeated (you had your chance and YOU BLEW IT!!!), beat USF (who would have been a majority of so-called P5 teams), beat Memphis (TWICE!), beat Navy (at Navy, breaking their long home winning streak), playing without a break after the hurricane, and THEN beating the Tigers.

Haha we have a national championship too. See, anybody can declare it. Beating a #10 auburn team by 7 points does not constitute a national championship, I think it's awesome that you guys won the game because it helps out the G5 world.

If you would have beat Wisconsin a few years ago then yes, you may have had a legit case for claiming a share of the title. But you didn't.
No because Wisconsin was not even close to being the best team that year, just like Auburn wasn't this year.
And there it is full stupid. . . SMH not even close? I assume you mean Alabama? A team Auburn beat?

Go home Big Mac you've got into too much special sauce again.

Without doing any research, my guess is if we were going to consider MAC teams for some reason, Buffalo and Akron would likely be near the top of the list. But that's just a gut thing.

If it makes you feel any better, WMU poster, any person here would likely get the same or worse response if we posted the same on a Big Ten or SEC board.

Reading comprehension not so great?

Did I say anything about UCF as national champs? Or did I point out that the team you claimed wasn't close to the best team in the nation, beat the claimed best team in the nation?

Not sure how you can be the best team in the nation and not be the best out of 7 teams in your division, or 14 in your conference but hey I'm just going with your assumptions.

We good store brand Mac & Cheese?

No, never. It would drag the conference down significantly.

There is not even one MAC program that will ever be worthy of an invitation to the American.

In fact, the mere asking of this question pisses me off.

I mean, hell, why don't we just invite the Cleveland Browns while we are at it ?

Oh god, your'e not one of those delusional UCF fans that thinks they're actually National champs??!! I know Toledo and Buffalo are a bit of a stretch but WMU has some serious room for growth and is easily the best program out of that conference. You can't tell me that Tulane or Tulsa are really "better" than WMU. And please stop acting like the AAC is a a cream of the crop conference, yes they are better than the MAC but putting yourself on a pedestal is laughable.

Uh yeah we can tell you that Tulsa and Tulane are better than WMU... there isn’t even a real comparison. GTFO with that bs.

Coming off a 2 win season in which you didn't have a single home attendance over 20K. Lol. The pretentiousness is unreal.

Yep - we had a rough year last year... But our overall success in athletics far outweighs anything Western Michigan has ever done.

Institution Rankings:

University Rankings:

Tulsa - Top100
Tulane - Top 50
Western Michigan - Not even in the top 200

I could go on and on, but you get the picture at this point. Yes, Tulsa and Tulane bring more to the table from a university standpoint and an athletic standpoint than Western Michigan. It's not really even all that close.

So again - GTFO with that bs. Go to the CUSA board where they will welcome with you with open arms to talk trash on the AAC. Your crap isn't going to fly here.

So we have more all time football and basketball wins than Tulane, have gotten farther in the NCAA tournament and it’s not even close?... ok then. Also, I’d like to know where you got those overall university rankings. Also, another program that is comparable would be East Carolina.

Oh wow you led the MAC in attendance for one year, while most teams were in a rebuilding status. Your'e still freaking Toledo, WMU has proved they can get and attain national attention, I don't think college gameday would ever want to go to Toledo.

What kind of national attention have they gotten since a 6-6 season? Is game day coming back now that the used car salesman head coach is gone?

Just wondering.......

Now that you're triggered..... I'll go back to enjoying a MAC Football Championship and our men's team competing for a top seed in the MAC basketball tournament.

Yall can’t even beat EMU, lmao
