Court draws partisan map in Pennsylvania
https://www.nationaljournal.com/s/664286...41J4NEU7HX

PA Supreme Court turns Democratic and gets a Democratic partisan map despite the Republicans controlling both houses of the legislature.

"...The new map is a lot cleaner, and does a better job of ensuring that like-minded communities are put in the same district. Only 13 counties are split between congressional districts, less than half of the number split under the current GOP-friendly lines. Trump won 10 of the 18 districts under the new plan; in a favorable Democratic midterm year (like 2018), Democrats could easily win a majority of the state’s seats.
Look closer at the district lines, however, and it’s clear that the state Supreme Court made a series of partisan decisions throughout the entire process, nearly all favoring Democrats. In the situations where the court needed to split up communities of interest, Republicans took it on the chin...."

Pa’s a weird state. Lived there for a year and a half, 70 miles from home. Seemed like another planet.
Couldn’t wait to escape.

PA is easily in the top 10 for most politically corrupt state gov't. I'm not sure how reliable this site is, but it seems more or less close to being accurate.

Not very accurate. Connecticut and California are the only states rated above a D?
