Well, you and I have to do a little long because I can't wait till you're banned.
Your posts embarrassed me as a human being. So much hate.

You care to post anything where I say the kid is an actor before I report you for spreading lies about me?

I'm grateful for the CNN Town Hall. I've decided to take action to help send a message.... I'm joining the NRA.

But yet, the thread about being absolutely giddy about an American Olympic athlete not medaling gets props around here. But sure, it's "sick" to discuss a narcissist embroidering "45" on his cuff.
Zero logic on this board.
So much hate. Meditate or scream at the sky if helps. It will be ok. Grown ups are in charge again.

I didn't post on there... take no particular joy in it, but I don't see anyone hoping they strip her of her previously earned medals, boycott her from future competition etc... closest I can come to of convicting Trump of treason/impeaching him. She does 'milk' commercials, i'd be more concerned about losing those. Lots of conservative dairy farmers.
The pettiness IS a bit sick... as in sick and tired... we're going on two years of this right? For every serious concern (and there are LOTS of them) there seem to be a dozen petty ones... which imo only detract from the legitimate ones.
We’re going on at least 10 years of the pettiness...20 if we’re being realistic.
As long as you agree that the pettiness is not one-sided, I'll go for 30.
Ehhh...Bush41 was the last president that didn’t have this stuff swirling around him as much, unless we’re counting Dan Quayle in all of this.

A petulant child is in the WH, but it doesn't surprise me that you equate that type of overcompensation with being a "grown up," given the style of posts you like on this board.

Fair enough...
I wonder how much of it is 'us' and how much of it is 'them'....
By that I mean (picking your starting point)... Bill had a lot of baggage, but James Carville was much like Trump in my mind... and he was front and center... and while he was very effective as a President, especially once Newt and he started working behind the scenes while flogging each other publicly... the level of votriol was amazing... and NOT simply because people were throwing stones, but because there WERE glass houses.
So we went from someone elected perhaps mostly because of his father... who was attacked relentlessly for things that were years of not decades old and for meaningless stuff (nuclear/nuculer)... so then we get what was essentially a President our of Central Casting. Not saying he wasn't worthy... that's a matter of opinion... but he didn't have much of a resume before running for President...
and then we get 'the anti-candidate'
I hate to see what comes next

I kind of do, too, although we certainly couldn't do a whole lot worse.
I think the pettiness, etc., had more to do with the introduction of the 24 hour news cycle around the same time as the end of Bush41's Presidency/beginning of Clinton's.
Gotta fill that time with something...it's interesting to consider what would have happened without cable news back then.
